He went on to say he was "personally disappointed [The Old Republic] was going to be standard action-bar combat."
Um...so is Rift?
Well, it's an MMO, I would have hoped it would be unlimited.
ME.
I say Wii has no good games, what are you gonna do about it?!
Seriously, I counted maybe 2 games on that list that I would actually play. Maybe I'd be more interested if I was 6 years old.

Stop changing what isn't broken. The new voice actor isn't going to get you any more Call of Duty fans buying your game. First they replace Jack Wall for the soundtrack, now this. Ugh.
That still remains to be seen. No-monthly-fee-isometric-World -of-Warcraft may turn out to be a piece of crap, like every Blizzard game released in the last decade. I have my fingers crossed that it wont be as big of a disappointment as WoW or StarCraft 2 but I'm not expecting much.
The game is far too different from Diablo, or even the old Dungeon Siege games. It's not a bad game by any means, and people basing their opinions of a game on other peoples' opinions (review scores) of crappy console versions of a PC game are, and always will be, idiots.
That being said, the game is extremely linear and story driven. You can't go back and revisit old locations, you can't use "waypoints", there are no open fields or randomly generat...
Seriously, why does everyone act like they are slaves? They are free to work where they want. If they don't like it, they can find a new job. No one is forcing them to work those hours. I don't feel sorry for people who CHOOSE to be exploited.
I don't think people suffer from gamer fatigue, I think they just suffer from nostalgia. Sure, there are more games coming out now than ever, so obviously a higher number of games are going to suck, but look back at the depth, technology and storytelling games had in the 80s and compare that to today. Clearly, nothing back then has ever come even close to games that are being released today.
The main reason people hold old games in such high regard is because back in the...
It's games like this that prove some people think games are amazing simply because of the name slapped on it. I'll never get why people still love this series to death and why they are incapable of admitting that there hasn't been a good one in over a decade.
You just answered your own question. No, there aren't any good games this summer. Deus Ex is my last hope but I'm really not sure about it from things I have seen lately. Dungeon Siege 3 was fun but not amazing, and it's so linear and short it's definitely not going to last you the summer.
They are publishing Prey 2 and Rage as well. Not sure how good Prey 2 is going to be but Rage looks phenomenal. Still don't think it's "the year of Bethesda" but between Rage and Skyrim alone, they are offering some good stuff.
I'm not saying it isn't an interesting concept, I'm just saying not all healers whine about not doing damage. Lots of people like being healers, myself included, and will miss this role in Guild Wars 2. I'm a little worried that without defined roles, the game is just going to be one big disorganized epeen zerg fest over who can outdamage whom. On paper it may seem like a good idea, but let's see how smoothly everything goes once the game is full of 12 year olds.
Pretty sure TOR will have conversation options...I'd hardly say it's something you wont see in other MMOs.
Also, why is everyone always against healing? I like healing :(
Supporters? You mean the millions of people who would hang your intestines from telephone wires given the first opportunity? Wow, these fat loser sociopaths are delusional.
Kids like this are really starting to drive me crazy. These conspiracy freaks who spend every waking moment trying to convince you how evil the world is and how we should revolt and turn the world into utter chaos and anarchy. Yes, because running through the streets, watching your house burn down and you...
First person shooters, third person shooters...uh...second person shooters. I dunno, maybe I need to be American to understand the whole "gun nut" thing.
Probably, but the product was clearly rushed, and they wanted to downplay the fact that most Nvidia cards that people are using right now still don't have DX11, especially with that giant "NVIDIA, THE WAY IT'S MEANT TO BE PLAYED" logo in the loading screen.
I speak only truth. The rest of the world is in denial.
I'm speaking specifically of the footage we saw at E3. There's no way in hell that was running on a $500, 5 year old machine. I'm sure they were running that on 2-3 SLI DX11 cards with 16gb of ram. Regardless, the price of initial purchase plus upgrades over the years do add up, especially for those who need to run every game at 60fps with no hiccups on insane settings. You don't NEED to spend thousands of dollars to actually play the game, but you need to spend that much to r...
Yeah, it's about shooting and terrible roll animations, duh.
