Hmm...8 hours or 300 hours...think I'll get Skyrim instead.
Great game, too easy though. They could easily make the series harder for people like me. I also love the way the NPCs just live in the world, how everything is shrouded in mystery and there's no "checklist" for finding secrets like in most games. The game doesn't hold your hand. You need to experience and discover everything for yourself. That is so rare in games these days.
For "games journalists", sure, but we all know they are terrible at games. I'm over 30 hours in. It's challenging but it could be MUCH harder. Nowhere near "too hard".
QQ. Anyone who doesn't buy a game because of its size is an idiot.
Sell out much?
Dark Souls, Skyrim, Arkham City, Rage, etc etc etc #43 Uncharted 3, another linear third person shooter with nothing unique or original whatsoever.
What is this shit?
Every MMO will wind up free to play if given enough time. I'm sure no one will be paying for it in 25 years. This is a stupid article.
MMO pre-orders mean nothing. The only thing that selling a lot of MMO pre-orders will bring is depression to the company once they see how many of those people don't subscribe after the first month.
Not much. I guess lots of people like linear 8 hour third person shooters. I prefer actual, you know, depth and meaning in my games.
Why do people always call Third Person Shooters "adventure games"? Have you ever even PLAYED an adventure game? They couldn't be more different from MGS and Uncharted...
Just like Duke Nuken Forever was, Randy?
Lawlllllllll.
Only Kindred? Ugh.
SOE? What?
Yeah, a love letter all the way to the bank.
"As a first person shooter". Hey, just like XCOM. Cause, you know, we all need more first person shooters, since the market is so currently flooded with tactical/strategy games right now. Definitely could use some more FPSs.
Can't wait to get this hilariously bad game. They deserve every sent for all the laughs it will cause.
There are way too many of these games, I've completely lost track.
