It doesn't matter because all games go to game pass which means they will be A or AA. Or they will be AAA in Microsofts standards which is regular AA. You can't sell a pass for $10 a month with day one games on it and put in 50 million budget to make it plus marketing. Good luck bleeding cash on that. All these new studios are all small studios that just make indies or they will start making smaller games like bleeding edge. Lol
I'm super happy about the different builds again too. I've said this before on here but that's the main reason I didn't like bloodborne as much. It just didn't have as much variety and choice as previous games. Open world does sound weird, but I trust they will try to fill it with crazy hard monsters that will be fun to fight. The only problem I can foresee with open world is it would kinda negate the forced encounters of the souls games. Think of it, if you ever rush past...
I don't know how their conference won anything and all of the press conferences haven't finished yet. Honestly Phil Spencer could have played as Justin hammer in Iron man 2 and it would have been exactly the same. He reminds me of him so much, just not as goofy.
It's also a completely different game. What I'm saying is another GaaS game probably won't have the thunder of previous launches due to almost everyone of them having a terrible launch year basically.
Edit* I also remember ff14 having a terrible launch and it having to go through a rebranding..
I still wonder if this game is an mmo-lite or whatever they call it now kinda like Warframe or destiny. All I know is if it isn't free to play on launch, it might not be picked up as much just because everyone keeps getting burned on these types of games until like a year after launch. I'm still curious on this game and I just hope it's not a cover based shooter. I'm pretty sure the division 2 has that base covered and they learned a lot from all the problems with the first on...
If destiny 2, with all the supposed improvements and I'm assuming much higher current player counts just went free to play, then it's only a matter of time until Anthem does the same thing.
That's exactly what I said and people on here bashed me because they like the press one button kind of games. It's cool for a bit to see your character do random attacks at the press of your one button, but it gets very bland very fast. Faster than this 15 min demo.
I agree. Literally if this game was like a batman game I wouldn't even look further into it and never purchase it. After playing every souls game from demons souls on, I actually like combat that depends on position and punishes you for mistakes. It's extremely hard to go back to games like the old assassins creeds and batman. I was super super hyped for shadow of war, and by the time it actually released I never finished it because of the simplified combat. It's also the reason I...
I thought it looked pretty decent. Not everything has to be spam a button 500 times and press another button to counter.
This is such a good thing because it allows them to tweak it and make it possibly bigger and better for future titles. It seems pretty cool for a Pokemon game for sure.
Why did they get rid of it in the first place? It seems like with this and the weapon slot changes they made and had to revert, they are just making stuff up without thinking it through. I put thousands and thousands of hours into destiny 1, and probably 40 hours into destiny 2 because of their design changes. I just don't think destiny 3 will have that much hype.
Sounds pretty decent. Now I just gotta wait until they show off the expeditions.
I didn't know about this game until today and it looks pretty amazing. I used to play stuff like this all the time and now I want to play another one again.
If they ever release the specialization.
Edit
This game needs to be free to play or I'm going to probably stay away based on other Gaas recently.
Oh you're right, but they are going for some of the e3 media presence with the June 6th date. I'm still slightly interested in their plan, but I won't buy one unless it's really innovating and has some exclusives that seem worth picking up.
It's pretty interesting how they are just jumping into e3 right away. Wonder if they'll have real exclusives to show.
Stuff like this proves bioware had no idea of what to do
Is destiny 2 worth revisiting?
They once said with the cloud there would be no need for future consoles. The next year they announced the Xbox one x. Lol
