Is this game still relevant?
Pretty much
Not sure if I want to invest in another game that promises support but doesn't do anything to fix the game after they get their money from pre-orders.
Sekiro and bloodborne are a little different. What made it not as fun for me was not having much choice in your builds, but it still has amazing combat.
Same here I played so many hours of all of them it's insane. I have probably 10 characters in each game all at over 200-300 hours each lmao. At the very least all of them are over 100 hours for sure.
That's because they only got an Xbox dev kit lol. I'm kidding but no loading times completely does change everything and many devs said that that alone will completely change how they develop all games because they had to work around loading times and a lot of cinematic and even the speed of your character was all designed around how fast the disc could read and transfer data to load the environment or the next zone if you fast traveled or loaded a new level.
I remember downloading it once on my phone and I deleted it about 10 min in. It just wasn't for me and it was nothing like elder scrolls combat which is already pretty dated as it is
I just really hope they dial up the RPG mechanics even more. I'm playing odyssy right now and I love the abilities and gear you can collect, it actually makes the game fun to grind a little bit. I just wish they would stop making such huge maps because it gets boring spending 10 min on your ship just to travel to a new island. I also hope they spend more time on their nemesis system they developed for mercenaries and I hope it has a bigger role in Valhalla.
Playing as t...
@chris12 also, epic games said they threw this together with about 10-12 people in a couple months just to prove its possible. They also said they chose the ps5 because it's the best place to market their new products for not just gaming, but for movie marketing and everything. There's a reason they chose to showcase this particular video at this time.
Also I'd like to add that a few years ago Microsoft said with the cloud, they would be no need for new consoles...
Genius marketing Sony has. They've barely shown anything off and no actual games yet, but they have dozens of studios and people coming out of the woodworks praising their next console. I've only seen Xbox studios or Xbox marketing execs saying how good their console is. That's a huge difference.
Tomb raider was fine
Worked like a charm.
Correction, it's going to hold back the Xbox. Sony wants to immediately deliver ps5 only games after launch. It will hold back some third party titles though.
Where were you when Microsoft had an E3 conference with either 16 or 18 different types of the word exclusive?
@GamerRN Microsoft wanted to own your licenses even if you put in a disc, it that game license would be locked to your one console and you could lend it to a friend or sell it to a game store. A bit different. One is a greedy company and the other has an issue affecting some people today for probably just a few hours or a day. Go back to your garbage games.
I just want it to be the original games with online multi-player. Maybe a little bit more customization and maybe a new level.
Look at most developers. I don't think I've seen any dev just come out randomly and say the series X is amazing or game changing or phenomenal unless it was a Microsoft studio. There are literally dozens of random independent devs who just came out and said they are excited for the ps5 or something. Even these guys today said multiple times that the ps5 blows everything out of the water including current high end pc's and other platforms.
There's this thing called inflation and there definitely putting much better stuff into it this time so I don't see why they wouldn't sell it for 500 or so when ps4 pros are still going for 350-400 right now.
I want them to re-release underground 1 and 2 instead.
I hope this sells well so they remaster underground 1 and 2 next. Those were some of my absolute favorite games on ps2.
