It's a sign of complete playstation dominance.
It depends on what's written in the contract. It could mention exclusive in perpetuity, or not mention a specific time frame. Only time will tell.
Let the man makes his dream game. I'm sure it'll make tons of money just from his influence anyways and then Sony can reign him in and hopefully pump out some traditional games from him. He is a man known for doing things a little strange. I do see him making a type of PT game after this though which would be amazing in VR.
Insomniac literally has more talent than all of the studios Microsoft just purchased, with the exception of the initiative that they pulled a ton of prior Sony employees to fill lol.

They've said the same tag line just altered slightly just about every year for e3 this Gen.
Look at the quality of that studio and plus Microsoft bought a bunch of studios making smaller games and basically going bankrupt. Also, Microsoft was literally playing catchup because before they bought those 7 studios they had less than half the studios Sony had.
I mean to be fair, insomniac kinda did that with sunset overdrive this Gen.
Lol that's like Microsoft buying an actual good studio. Remedy isn't at the level of insomniac or any of Sonys first parties.

Plus multiple of those studios can literally work on 2 or 3 games at once and a couple of them have been rumored to upgrading offices further.
They need to grab From Software and Bluepoint games. Then they would be chilling.
I doubt Sony could buy take two, it has so many ips, and square Enix and Capcom do as well, I just don't think it'll happen like that. Don't get me wrong, I'd like them to because I love most of the games they make, however I also think it would pretty greedy of Sony to literally hog all the AAA third parties except for ubisoft and EA games lol.

Yep, they gave bioware a budget and a timeline and bioware just argued and sat on their hands for 4-5 years and then spent a year making the game to ship.
They already said it's Anthem with dragons lmao. That comment they made is going to seriously hurt DA in the future.
