I still hope these devs stay independent. The only problem is if they still want to sell their licenses and studios they will have to be gobbled up by EA, Activation, Ubisoft, Tencent or someone like that.
Yep, a graphic changer is more of the words I would have chosen but you're right, it Wil change the way devs develop games for Microsoft for the worse.

I honestly hope the combat changes like how assassins creeds combat has changed. I loved the assassins creed franchise as a stealth based game. I always hated the combat. That's why I couldn't get into any of the batman games. It's just two buttons and the combat gets super repetitive. I like actual skill based gameplay. @L7CHAPEL most real gamers do have an axe to grind with Microsoft. They made promises over and over and never did any of them. They should run for office as politicians at this point. What good games have actually come out of a studio owned by Microsoft this past gen?
Microsoft launched the 360 a full year ahead of ps3 and Microsoft counted all RROD and console repairs as a new console sold. Even with those heavily inflated numbers, sony still outsold them with a more expensive console.
Honestly this tennocon was kinda of a let down. Everyone already knew an infested open world was coming. Other than that, not much else was really shown off except skins, a couple new frames, and a new system for exchanging warframe powers which looks like a whole new level of grind. Just disappointing really. I absolutely loved warframe for years, but this past year has been really dull.

Lol at them trying to say it was a few weeks old build so the graphics are way better now. I thought some Xbox guy said it was a very old demo. This game is going to be a very old game like anthem was 2 weeks after launch. Just delay the game.
Honestly this is the only game that I liked from th rmicrosoft showcase except for probably avowed, even though no real gameplay was shown of avowed.
OK we have to discuss how either Sony is paying off every dev except for Microsoft studios devs, or every dev with a ps5 dev kit is actually excited for the ps5. It's literally like 50+ studios at this point that came out of the wood works praising the ps5.
I hope they talk about the power of the cloud again. What did they say before the Xbox one x was announced again? Something along the lines of with the cloud they won't need to make any more consoles because the base Xbox one could do push the best graphics and physics in the world with the cloud. Sounds accurate. Tell me, how did that work in crackdown 3 again?
Doesn't matter to Microsoft first party studios though. It's like buying the fastest car in the world only to give it to your great grandma and she only drives it 20 mph once a month.
It's funny because for half (probably more) this next gen, Microsoft is gonna struggle to make games to rival the first party exclusives on the base ps4. Meanwhile, playstation 5 games are going to one up each other as the best looking games of the generation once again.
I've played a ton of early access building and survival games on steam. Definitely more than a few dozen. The problem is 90% of them are still in early access and I paid for them like 4-5 years ago.
I'll even respond to my own comment. It just baffles me. This has bene going on for years.

Sony : develops the most beautiful authentic samurai game ever made with an authentic hero and story pretty akin to assassins creed but with much more engaging gameplay and combat.
