Could be pretty soon too. Before GoW launched they were working on a DLC that they said was too big and too ambitious to be DLC and it was pretty far along before the game launched in 2018.
Because the series S is there way of suckering in people. Actually nevermind, Xbox is just suckering in customers in general.
Apparently it might be sooner than you think. Back in 2018 they said they initially were working on DLC before the game launched. (so in 2017) and it became too big of a story and add-on so they just broke it off into a sequel. But they did say it was pretty far along before the game launched in March of 2018.
I think several have to be like ghost of tsushima just for the multi-player alone, plus Spiderman is anyways for miles Morales. Also, I think the last of us 2 and God of War will. Days gone might, but I actually really liked that game and am looking forward to a sequel.
@galmi why do you think literally dozens of devs came out randomly saying the ps5 is amazing and they can't wait to make more games on it? Nobody wants to be forced to make games on underpowered machines for the next decade.
I'm talking about actual next gen that last 6-8 years. Not the first couple months.
The series S splitting up devs to make games on a 4 TF machine was a huge grave they dug. Most devs that want to make next gen games are just gonna skip Microsoft.
It doesn't matter man. It's all PR talk for him and he doesn't realize by releasing a 4 TF machine right next to a 12 TF machine that all third parties that make games and develop engines and AI for are going to have to develop for the lowest common denominator first. I'm guessing that's why literally dozens of devs are coming out and have been coming out praising the ps5. They aren't forced to make last gen games on ps5. I bet we'll see way more ps5 exclusives jus...
At least it's games. Plus Sony announced 7 other exclusive games that day. How many does Xbox have? And of those how many are launching this year? Oh yeah, 0.
True, but we still saw the same amount of gameplay running on a series X here as well as the past conferences.
I bet the series S will be the strongest streaming device in the world or something like that. Phil is pretty easy to understand because a 5 year old writes his speeches and clearly a 5 year old dresses him too. All he chooses is the same blazer.
I still hate how Microsoft messed up next gen by holding all third parties back with the Series S.
I don't even care abut price. I just want it.
It's also 1/3 the power of the series X. Can't wait to see that bottleneck in a few years for games.

I like how everyone thinks it's going to fly off the shelves just because it's most likely cheaper than the digital ps5. Go back and re-watch the ps4 and xbox one reveals. There's like 10 reasons why Xbox one was considered anti consumer. The price just solidified the verdict.
I bet it doesn't help them out in the short term or the long term. Short term they have no big exclusives to market except a couple mostly timed exclusives from third parties. Long term, after the two year limit of making games also on the super out dated Xbox one, they will also be forced to make games on the 4 TF Xbox series S.
