Exactly people forget Sony doesn't need to pay for speakers to put on every rooftop in the world to blast updates everyday on to get sales. They still outsell the competition with much less ads.
I agree. I played every souls game including demons souls originally and the remake recently, dark souls 1-3 on release and DLC, ds 2 scholar of the first sin and dark souls remastered included, as well as sekiro. I never finished bloodborne. I just didn't like it.
I would also like to add that I find it really funny that days gone got review bombed by everyone for having a gruff white male as the lead charactor and it being super bland, and just another zombie game and all that.. But now that days gone 2 is "canceled" or "put on hold" those same people are standing with their pitchforks waiting for Jim Ryan to show his face. Gotta love media.

My thought is Sony just went out and spent a ton of money somewhere else. Think about it, downsizing Japan studio, closing three storefronts, multiple Konami licensing deal rumors, Sony tried to buy WB, Sony tried to buy Leyou Holdings, kodagawa partnership, epic partnership, denuvo partnership, they've been super quiet for months and I'm assuming waiting for June to reveal a bunch of stuff. I'm pretty sure Kojima will do a Sony game again. For death stranding, Sony helped fund it, let him use the decima engine for free, marketed it for free, and gave him developers to help him make the game as well as some hardware for free. Also, Kojima has been very pro playstation for over a decade. I doubt he just signed on with Xbox just because.
Actually I expect a huge budget decrease with game pass. I think they will force them to throw games out the door faster and use less money.
It's not conspiracy to say the Bethesda has been pro Xbox for a decade. Most PS games are super buggy messes on launch. Also weird how now it's another delay right after Microsoft buys them and STILL has no game release dates 5 months into the Gen.

I felt the same. I was actually kinda hyped for the game and I tried the demo and I was like.. Am I playing a ps3 game? And it felt super rushed. I had multiple cinematic where no one said anything and just stood there silently for minutes or a skipped cinematic on a black screen and stuff so the story didn't do it for me. Probably on purpose. I'm actually surprised Bethesda did not one but two ps5 exclusives because they are so anti Sony it's crazy. I bet they are play testing this game with Xbox controllers like that one time they were supposedly playing skyrim on ps3 with a 360 controller in their hand.
I pre-ordered this today. I honestly don't know how it's gonna go, but I am optimistic. Either way, housemarque is really good at twinstick shooters, and this is a different type of game, but some of the elements they do that I like are present.
