@thegreatgazoo30 it doesn't matter if I did. Microsoft wants money and tried to pull a greedy move overnight and then backpedled like they usually do. This is only like the 30th time they've done something like this, and this was fairly recent.
It's too bad there isn't an E3 to wait for anymore.
I almost think it'll get further pushed back and Bethesda or some random studio will put out something else to fan the flames. I don't think they changed almost everything in that whole game during the pandemic in less than a year when it was basically a complete restructure.
No, but it means they can try to double the price of Xbox network now because its a "new" service. Just you wait, they purposely wanted to double the price before and they'll try again.
@Orchid do you mean like Bethesda said they would continue to self publish games and they would decide which platforms their games are on, while also saying it would be a while before any games are exclusive and Phil Spencer saying it would be by a case by case basis of exclusivity. Then the day of the acquisition, it's full game pass exclusivity? Seems to me like Sony should ban Microsoft at their partially owned venue. Why not at this point?
Don't forget funimation and crunchy roll. Not to mention kodagawa stake, albeit small.
No, all third party titles will have to develop for it if they go multiplat. It gimps most games for the next 5-6 years.
After the initial E3 Anthem reveal, why would you trust anything Bioware shows off before a game comes out? That trailer was striaght up fraudulent and wasn't even what they were developing until after that trailer wow'd the audience.
It's completely different when it's consoles. Consoles are always behind when they release, so when they release something weaker than last Gen refreshes, it's like a half Gen release. Look at cyberpunk 2077 5 years ago and on release. How many NPC's, settings and just overall features were cut and why? The initial trailer also looked a lot nicer. I believe that game was always intended for PC and now current Gen consoles, not last Gen. This is what happens. Look at last Gen c...
I do agree. I hate companies that lie of course. It's why I also am a huge critic of a certain company, but I also hated this game how it didn't really change much and was just boring. I played like 12 hours and have absolutely no reason or ambition to even try again.
Oh look, it's me, your boy, saying once again, like I did before the consoles launched that the series S is a detriment to next Gen and Microsoft who is forcing devs to make games on both consoles. It will for sure, cause games to be downscaled past resolution and fps. Less enemies on screen, dumber AI, stuff like that will happen for sure. Like I said before, some devs will most likely just make ps5 games and pc to not have to worry about that kind of downscaling and just make a game. Wh...
After Valhalla, I'm truly done with assassins creed. They let me down for the final time with the same boring, repetitive quests and thousands of bugs that never get fixed.
When was it ever worth backing?
They need to work on the level design better then. Half of the missions are capture and hold points and the AI doesn't help you as it is. It's basically solo play with idiot AI doing almost nothing to help and If you don't personally level up and hear up the AI characters, they do almost no damage. They should make it so the bots get like 20% xp for being with you so you don't have to grind all your characters out just to play solo because no one is playing the game.
I think they kinda have to make a good fighting game or buy one. Still might try to buy WB, who knows?
So Microsoft just bought a bunch of new toys for Xbox. They are legit losing money on game pass as of right now, and their plans to double the price of live backfired. I wonder how long they are willing to bleed money just for good PR.
I'm seriously looking forward to this game. I had no idea it existed a few months ago, but I am downloading it day one in a few weeks.
Same here. I have so many games there and I havnt paid anything or played any of them yet lol.
That was my take. I felt like it was just a rehash of other games and it wasn't all that fun.
I've never tried a resistance game, but I'd probably check it out if a reboot or remaster came out.
