Only problem with your comment is that this isn't Sony saying it.
I was stating how every idea has usually been done before. The idea for achievements is not original, however MS expanded on the idea and made something of their own with it.
You have no idea where they got the idea for achievements. Someone at MS might have seen the achievement idea in R&C and thought it wold be a cool thing to implement in all their games and have a rating system attached to it. You don't know and nor do I.

When you actually bought the game but the disc is so fkt up it wont install the game anymore.
SOCOM was broken and incomplete from the beginning. Bad coding is what made that game bad, not the game itself. Every time they patched some aspect of the game, another got broken. It had really nothing to do with the players.

It doesn't take a whole development team to support a title after release. Zipper is working on another game and have been for a while.

As for Twisted Metal, the only developer people think would be working on this game is Eat,Sleep,Play. They never stated that it was or wasn't TM they are working on.

but the GI issue was a bit underwhelming visually. Everything looks a bit bland. The reason I say this is when I saw the RDR info in GI it increased my interest in the game a lot.
The info for L.A. Noire didn't do the same thing. Don't get me wrong, I'm still excited for this game, but as far as increasing my excitement, the issue didn't do it for me. It is still very early however, so hopefully they can show some awesome gameplay.

It may not have been spectacular, but it did do everything right, it was polished, and was fun. Not every game needs to be ground breaking and over the top to warrant it getting a sequel.
Infamous reminds me of Crackdown. It wasn't spectacular either, but it was fun. And look, they are making Crackdown 2.

They don't have any major actors doing the voice work for this game.
That's more than enough to start 4 good indie companies. If they have a good core team who works well together, and can make awesome fun games, then MS or Sony should support them and let them do their own thing. None of this stupid movie game crap that gets churned out by EA.
I believe they are captures from the PS2, and not the PS3. As you said, the originals upscaled do look better than the original pics.
