Why does everything come down to a bribe? Sony & MS don't go around throwing money at people to make them say nice things. If that was the case, we would have never heard devs complaining about how PS3 is harder to develop for and that the 360's not all having a HD is limiting what they can do with the games.

edit: I'd love for someone to stand up to their disagrees they gave me.
eeeeeerr i don't like his name, DISAGREE!!!!!

Have you ever even played any of these games?
Liar, Heavenly Sword, Warhawk all got good and bad scores.
Personally I have played Warhawk for a while and I and every other person on N4G that has played it loves it. Do i think it deserves 10's.....No.
Do I think it is one of the best games I have played... Yes. It reminds me of the times I played Twisted Metal 2.
Also, insulting anyone by there personal choice "fanboy who pay 600$ for mechaine(with nogames) i...

You do know that "Sony's Devs" don't port 360 games. That's the job of the 3rd party developers, not Sony. Sony can't be blamed for the weak ports. The devs ultimately decide what console they put the game on.

I always think a group should review games. Its kind of like a court case. You wont judge someone with one juror, why would you judge a game with one reviewer.
Think of it as a survey. If one person tries Pepsi and they stop the survey, the survey outcome is either that one person like or hates it. thats why they use a group to evaluate a consensus about the opinions of the people towards a product.

Not saying you are right or wrong. Just saying that every company does the same thing.
-MS said there is no need for HDMI (what is on the newer 360s?)
-360 has better graphics, of course it does. It's been out longer. And the differences are not that noticeable. (if it takes you more than 3 seconds to see a difference its not that noticeable)
- The force feedback not working by Phil saying "we were in a lawsuit, what did you want us to say?"
- the wii...

Exactly. Not everyone that played the game is going to like it. I still don't know what aspect of the game he really played and who he played against (if he played against anyone at all).

As far as fun factor i put this up with the top games i have ever played, along with Twisted Metal 2.

Has anyone played BF2 with bots? It's the most boring thing possible.

I don't know how many times the game crashed an hour, i was still compelled to play. Comparable to the amount of fun i had playing TM2 for the first time.

I'm thinking so. One of the true easy to play fun games without getting owned the whole time. Unless (as you said) you play alone.

Yeah i really didn't know what to do with the beta either, so mine is still up too.

Very fun guy to play with. his kills and k/d ratio wasn't as high as most, but a very good team player. Lots of flag caps.

I sniped him while he was camping in a building with the artillery. He later flew over to me, hoped out and killed me. What he didn't know was that I put a proxy mine on his plane. He thought he got revenge. He was wrong.

I had some fun times with you too EZCheez.

To understand what the developers go through with audio you have to understand audio (read 23). It's really a matter of the situation. Do some devs need the space. No. But when you make a game that has a varying amount of orcastrated theme music with lengthy dialog sequences with 7.1 you probably will need it.
Have you ever gone on a trip and wished you had a little more suitcase room to bring some more stuff along? I know i have.
Ninja Theory has that really big suitcase. ...

Especially when they are region free games. Plus it takes more rendering power to uncompress audio, energy that can be used elsewhere to make the game look/function better.
"they are doing a cost/benefit calculation." <-- Exactly.

For people that don't know about audio. READ!!!

A high sample rate audio track that is uncompressed is huge. An uncompressed CD quality audio track will take up to 10 MB of space per min. Thats PER MINUTE and thats just CD quality, not HD quality. CD's have a sample rate of 44100 Hz, HD (whether it be Bluray or HD-DVD) has a sample rate of 192000 Hz. 192000 (SR) x 16 (res) x 2 x 60 (time) / 8 (size in bytes) = 46,080,000 bytes. That's for one minute, ONE HOUR you have clos...

This shouldn't offend the 360 crowd because it doesn't really say anything bad about it.

since the wii is just the gamecube v1.03, there is no learning curve there. You just have to figure how to utilize the controls.
That's what Sony gets for trying new things. Shame on them for thinking outside the box!

@ Guitarded.
Agreed, but what if it easy to develop for, just the developers haven't found out how to use it yet. I use a lot of things that aren't easy to use (3d max, After Effects, Combustion.) It takes a while to get use to and to think about...

the devs said they probably have it worked out where K&M or SIXAXIS is a filter for game searches. This way you wont have to play against those K&M players if you don't want to.

Yeah....We got you the first time you said you didn't like the graphics.
