ROMS are legal if you burn them yourself from cartdriges you own. There is a lot of gray areas in law when it comes to downloading games that aren't produced i mass anymore, in which you have no way to pay directly to the developers.
I agree but this emulator is really well done and fully deserve the price tag imo.
Mario kart ds and devil survivor 2 are working full speed for me. It's nearly flawless.

It seriously one of the best ds emulators on Android.
I tried it on my HTC one and almost %99 of the games works full speed.

If you bought a special edition game for $70, it probably won't burn a hole in your finances. Same with the ultra rich people, one million is pocket change for them.
Simply the free game collection is what puts it leaps and bounds ahead of xbl in terms of value.

I don't know why would you rather play 950x544 vita games stretched/upscaled on full hd screens.
Playing on it native res on the vita's oled display is much better.
I won't worry too much when it have the essentials of any racing game more than it competitors like solid 60fps, all cars and tracks sharing the same amount of details and quality, Deep customisation and tuning etc.
That's is much more important than day night cycle or weather effects.
One thing is that western rpgs tends to have much higher budgets compared to jrpgs (there are exceptions)
And it's one of the main reasons why a lot of Japanese developers prefer to release their games on handhelds.
Overall I agree, but both have their cons and pros.
For me, story and character development in jrpgs is much better than wrpgs. You get attached to the characters in your party more so than most wrpgs like fallout and skyrim. Jrpgs also have more diversity. There is action, turn based, strategy etc.
Although when it comes to open worlds, wrpgs wins hands down.

This. Self publishing Indies are fine but big blockbuster games don't fund themselves. It need a strong backing which these companies can afford.
