Why would anyone be happy about WiiU launch games being compared to Xbox/PS3 launch games? You're already admitting WiiU isn't next gen. You should be saying let's wait to see PS4 launch games. By the way, this game released Oct last year on PS3 lol.

I don't get this. When did this become a selling point? I would be furious if Next box/PS4 came out in 2013 or 14 and could port Halo 4 or God of War Ascension with ease and that's a surprise. Everybody bashed 360 yesterday and don't get me wrong it wasn't good at all. Halo 4 was better then anything at Nintendo's show. No way. When game was announced, it was 360/ps3. That was the audience intended. Multi player is still a good part of this game and you don't gamble on small install base. If they released this game on WiiU first to mediocre reviews, 360/ps3 crowd passes. It would get buried by Halo, Bioshock, God of War, etc. The play is to either release on 360/ps3 first or simultaneously across all of them. Slow sales on WiiU wouldn't hurt them in that case.
Nobody cares about trailers anymore. Mr. Nomura hasn't released a current gen game at all. At this point, its looking like this game is vapor. PS4 an NextBox are coming and I'm done with this.
Yeah I've had both since launch and at first, Live was way ahead of PSN. Over the years though, they've evened up. I still like the option to party up on live though. However, being a PS+ member has really paid off and is the real wild card when choosing which is a better "paid" service. However I do think that Live is worth the money. They're both great networks but Sony just edges MS cuz of the option to be free

Resident Evil4 isn't a good example. A Gamecube game, later a ps2 game, and then a Wii cash in? Of course after that many iterations they should offer all that to entice the suckers to buy it again. The real question is what will these current ps3/360 games have added to the WiiU versions that would make owners of these games already buy it again? Most people won't be buying a WiiU for games that u can get on ps3/360

Huge fan of the 1st game. There's no way in hell this game has anything to do with Kinect. Anyone that has played the 1st one knows that its impossible to implement. And there was no talking or teammates in the 1st so I expect no voice control. Mirror's Edge suffered less then expected sales and adding Kinect would kill the fanbase it did have.

Those demos were "impressive"? The bird tech demo was lame. Watch the intro to Fable 2, same thing but better on 360. Maybe this is all that Nintendo wants the WiiU to be able to do. Keeping the system cheaper then 720 and PS4 mite be a good reason why this machine may not be leaps and bounds ahead of current gen tech. I do know this though, I will not be buying a new Nintendo to play Darksiders 2 when I have a functional PS3/360. Btw, upscaling a game from 720p to 1080p on new hardware doesn't seem like it should be praiseworthy. Shouldn't that be an expectation?
That's absurd. There's no evidence of graphical prowess over ps3 or xbox and even less evidence of a competent online component. Nintendo will never topple xbox live, never. Hell I like psn but even I don't deny that Live is better. Until we see "better" versions of multiplat games on WiiU, I would suggest calming down
