I think it would be great if Halo 2 is included in this. HD remakes for ps3 do well at a 40 dollar price point because of the amount of content on the disc. If both were offered, it may even spur more Halo3/Reach sales.
It's possible to do a Top 15 for the first AND second half of 2011. I'm interested in some of the games we know are coming, but may or may not make it in 2011. Assassin's Creed3, Uncharted3, FFvs13, Metal Gear Rising, Ninja Gaiden3, The Last Guardian, Bioshock Infinite, Devil May Cry, and many more. It's a good time to be a gamer.
I'm not sure trusting this review is a good idea. Gameinformer gave it a MUCH lower score. Reviews from IGN have been very odd lately.
Huh? I liked the SP very much. I think it lacks some type of co-op component though. I think a sequel with less pressure and more time could turn very good indeed.
Gotta say God of War3. The game may not be as innovative, but no one does it better than Sony Santa Monica. Titan mode is a non-stop thrill ride. Nothing like how powerful that game makes you feel.
I agree. It seems like c.e.s are the norm anymore. This franchise is definitely worthy, but when extraction comes included in the ps3 version, I can't really see upgrading for an artbook and toy. However, I do like the c.e.s for exclusive games. I must say though, that Dead Space is one of those rare multiplat gems that stand tall with the AAA exclusives on both the 360 and ps3! A must buy whatever edition you decide.
Its a good game, but I think most reviewers are talking up the graphics a bit. I understand that its multiplat and Kojima was somewhat inolved but I would hesitate to put it any higher then an 8. That's still a great score. The combat is fun and reminiscent of GoW, but it lacks the polish and combo integration of GoW. At times it feels like the game is pulling off moves by itself. For example, starting a ground combo and jumping often time will link to an airborne combo with no other butt...
There is plenty of room in the genre as far as I'm concerned. To be mentioned in the same sentence as the great GoW is a complement.
I pay for xbox live gold every year and I don't get much in the way of discounts or free games or betas. I honestly don't see a downside to plus. You could argue, I suppose, that all those things disappear after you stop using plus, but these are things I personally wouldn't have experienced without it. With all the great new exclusives coming, plus can only get better.
I'll get both. The only thing I'm worried about is the black ops vet mode. Hope there aren't so many grenades this time. I agree with what others have said. Nobody complains about Madden or Fifa or NCAA, so why CoD?
I've owned 2 Wiis but sold them both. I think I may have outgrown nintendo for the time being, but I'm still confident they may someday regain my loyalty. For now, I'm content with my Uncharted, GoW3,Infamous,LBP,Halo, Gears, Alan Wake, etc.....
I won't believe it until hiphopgamer confirms it /s. LOL
You mean The Dahaka. And yeah it was badass. Easily the best in the trilogy
All I can say is thank god there is plenty of time to change him back.
You're right. Since when has Ninja theory proven anything to anybody? Then Capcom gives them the keys to DMC?
This isn't created by the people that made the DMC games. Ninja Theory has no pedigree.
Uh, Ninja theory's creative genius? I don't remember them doing anything remotely considered genius. And if they don't do something to Dante, they won't be around long enough to develop anymore mediocre crap.
They have plenty of time to change the way he looks. DMC has always been a niche type game, and I don't think Capcom could risk more disappointing sales from a traditionally strong franchise. Dante will be back at E3 next year, cocky and badass as usual.
I'm a HUGE fan of SotC, but not so much Ico. We really know nothing of this game at all. We've seen some video and a few pics, but we know absolutely nothing. I'll wait to praise this game until I've actually played it. I do hope it's excellent though.
Maybe the reason is that we've all seen the game in action. Sony may have a few never before seen trailers for some VERY HEAVY HITTING franchises. Wowing an audience with a game that's been seen before is very tough indeed. Hell, some people have already played Beast Mode. I'm a huge fan of Gears, but interest in the PS3 exclusives seems to be at an all-time high. I'm sure MS has seen the list of reveals, and decided to "live to fight another day".
