Horizon 2 looks absolutely sublime in the demo, seriously gorgeous.
Lack of matchmaking sucks, I can understand why they've done it, but they should at least give us the option of being able to use matchmaking.
Didn't your parents tell you to pick your fights wisely Julian?.
But the xbox brand could quite easily transfer away from hardware, just look at what MS are doing with trying to get xbox branded games playable through your web browser.
I am an xbox owner, but even I know that the xbox has been well and truly trounced in the console war, makes sense for them to look into diversification.
considering they say they will remain committed to Mojang producing products for all platforms, could this be the first step in Microsoft abandoning console hardware and concentrating on the software market?
I think you're right, Bungie should leave the MMO genre to the people who know how to make a good MMO (i.e. Blizzard)
I'm also not convinced that the console is the best place for this kind of title, lots of people have purchased the game expecting a halo game, when in reality all they've got is a (pretty badly designed) MMO title.
Sub class unlocks at level 15, but I get what you're saying :)
You should really think about the first 1-20 levels (and the story to some extent) as some kind of extended tutorial, and not the "real game".
The "real game" gets going once you hit level 20..........
It's not a bad bland design, I'd say the design is probably one of the best things about it.
They have built a very nice framework, but seem to have forgotten about the game that fills that framework.
It has serious potential, and even in it's current state it's a lot of fun.
Lack of loot is a legitimate gripe, and I also get the gripe about the lack of direction, very little is explained, and you have to fumble around to find things out.
It's a decent enough game, lots of fun to play (so far), but doesn't bring anything new to either genre.
Emperors new clothes.........
In before PS4 version deliberately hobbled..........
History, that's a good point, Gran Tursimo single handedly changed the racing sim forever, it was the original, it was a game changer, it was unique, and every single racing game today owes sometime to the grandfather of racing sims.
But that was then, this is now, you can't rest on your laurels forever.
Exactly how I feel, I spent nearly £100 importing the first Gran Turismo, the series piqued, IMO, with GT2, and has gone downhill ever since.
FM2 blew it out of the water in terms of pure driving feel, and the current FM5 is arguably the best physics and tyre model available, and I do include PC sims like iRacing (for which I was a beta tester for)
Currently on my first playthrough, lvl 55 demon hunter, all solo, never felt the need to join with anyone, boy is it a compelling game........
The only public event I saw in the Beta was the "destroy the tank" one.
Sounds better for a dis-story though don't it?
I'd rather have both, exclusivity is dumb.
Double standards mean nothing when you're a fanboy.
Tomb? Raider? exclusive?
Sorry, was just feeling left out.......
Hmm........9/10? tempting, I thought, from the previews, it just looked like a shed load of QTE events?
