He may have let his expectations get the better of him however all the reasons for giving that score are well evidenced. I think sometimes that people forget 5 is technically 'average' if you use the 1 to 10 score properly. Something that this game, from his stance of course, sounds like.

Anything that's EXTREMELY bugged deserves to take a big hit in score. If you watched the whole thing, which admittedly is long at 45 minutes, then he clearly states that this is based on the release build and patches may eventually fix it. He's nothing but brutally honest as a long time Total War fan.

If you can stream youtube and media from your own computer files (music, films etc) then this puts it above and beyond even what Apple TV can do. That could be serious seller for Sony.
If you have no interest in a Vita or PS4 remote play then no, it's not big news. However for a lot of people it's an entry point into Vita games and the PS4 remote play is very handy for playing in another room without having to lug the console and hook it up to another TV.

You'd be surprised. I know many who won't get either of the current consoles because they 'don't get on with' whichever console. It's crazy to me. Our hands are very dexterous and controllers are designed to work with them.
As per lots of people on here I switch between the two without thought. Xbox controller for my PC and PS3 controller for my...PS3.

I'm not naive enough to be saying you can just walk into a job because you've done well on YouTube but if done right it can be a benefit. There are plenty of people who have gained jobs in various industries because of what they've done on the internet. Examples that spring to mind are the amount of level creators that Media Molecule hired because of their impressive user generated content and their community team previously worked on the unofficial LittleBigPlanet website.
What's the difference between what they do and TV, aside from budgets of course. In fact they could easily have gained the same experience as any TV presenter but be able to edit, direct and even produce. Maybe not in the same qualification way but definitely in terms of experience.

I can't find anything in that review that justifies a 6 as opposed to anything higher. They spend half the review just talking about the controls, no mention of graphics at all. I'm not saying it should be a '10 OUT OF 10 BEST GAME EVA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!' but I just can't see why they decided it's that low.

I'm not sure whether this is a stupider idea than the PSPgo or not? I just find it hilarious that their main aim is for kids under 7 to have a console to play. Here's an idea, MAKE A CONSOLE THAT ONE OF YOUR LARGEST AUDIENCES CAN USE IN THE FIRST PLACE! Nintendo are really losing their mind recently.
Tablets are handy for mini games but consoles are for actual gamers and games. There will always be a split between casual and hardcore/proper gamers.
