Yep, it's just a matter of if and when Sony can afford it.
Because they want to meet shipping targets they set earlier this year. Without a cut, they'd get hell from investors for (relative) poor sales.
Definitely. Price is the only thing that's keeping the PS3 back.
True, but from a business perspective...if Nintendo is projecting a certain sales target and then misses it (which, at their current rate of sales, they definitely will)...the stock market will murder them for it.
The Halo shorts is fine...the RC though...for shame! :P
Similar in the sense that they both deal with rock music.
I don't think they're direct competitors, per se...but it's a similar market demographic.
Totally agreed on disc based games...really hope that comes in subsequent updates.

Dude. Did you even read the article?
They can, but Microsoft is cutting off another potential revenue stream if they have a "cap" in place.
Well, sure. But that's probably not what's happening. When there's only 35 slots, good games (especially "risky" concept games) are going to get cut.

Yep. Good to see that a developer will continue to support there game that long after release. Then again, Infinity Ward is top-notch and I doubt they'd let crap like that go down in a game that continues to be that popular.
