I think a $200 price point will help drive up demand for the Wii well enough. I think that price was the only barrier to a lot of people at this point for the system--not that it was ever prohibitively priced--but more that they sold so many of the damn things at $249 that they just exhausted the market at that price point.
Silly to not buy a MW2 just because you don't like their CEO for comments he's made on video games. Not like he's making children manufacture Activision's games or something.
I don't even know if it'll be the biggest selling title this generation. Wii Fit will likely take that crown. The sell through on that game...and on one platform to boot...is amazing.
Well, Wii Sports probably doesn't "count" because the majority of those games were packaged with the system itself. It would have sold well for sure, but it wouldn't have sold to pretty much every consumer either.
