You can make a judgement. Then what is the reason for E3 demos or demos at all? It is up to the developers to show the strenghts of the game, not just throw a random demo of a boring part of the game and then claim that people are being unfair to the game.
Some devs even make special E3 demos, including Sony Santa Monica with God Of War 3. The demo was different pieces from different parts of the game glued together seamlessly and it was great.

If you are an "Alien/Xenomorphs" fan you will see that the game has A LOT of small little nods to the 1st movie. It actually would be a good idea to watch the movie before checking the game and check on that.
The sound design was really cool. Lots of eco and "emptiness" that is really creepy. Playing it with surround sound or 7.1 headphones would be a definite blast.
My particular concerns are the Lenght of the game, the difficulty and if ...
I played the demo at E3 and it was uninteresting and boring. It was just another shooter with slow movements and mechanics. Am I being unfair to base my opinion on something RaD decided to show? Well no, because if RaD decided to show a pretty boring and uninteresting section of their game, well, it's their fault not mine.
Do I hope that I'm wrong? Obviously! My money is there at the ready...waiting to be spent. I would never be glad that a game I want ends up being b...
I understand that there are a lot of concerns based on what happened with Colonial Marines, but this is a whole other company developing this game and based on what I saw, I can see the love and care they were taking when creating this game.
When I saw it, the developers were there explaining the gameplay and the things they were doing and going for and what I could tell from them is that they are really confident on their product but their only concern is that people are (ju...
According to the Bungie site, they will be giving away stuff during the beta, including a special insignia or something like that.
If a friend of yours preordered he will get 3 codes to invite friends. So you may be able to get into the beta without preordering yourself.
I understand the concern. It is 100% valid, however I saw it at E3 and I will be buying it. Regardless if it end up being a regular game, what I saw was great. I don't actually buy games based on reviews because I've hated games that were critically acclaimed (Tomb Raider) and loved games that were critically destroyed, so I'm going with what I saw.
So you blame console players of not knowing what survival games are about, yet there are plenty PC users that doesn't like Day-Z at all.
I know what a Survival game are, and one thing is to take care of all those things (food, water, Stamina, etc) in a fun way and another one is to do it in a boring and uninteresting way. Day-Z is an interesting concept in a boring world and H1Z1 is exactly the same. It's not a survival game, it's a chore simulator.
Tons of people also dislike Day Z and just as you said H1Z1 es a rip-off of Day Z.
I'm interested in any game, however, in zombie games you are supposed to be threatened. Spending days building something without any feelings of fear or anything is not what I think when I play a zombie game. In that sense, Dead Island does a better job at mixing Survival and a sense of urgency.
I think it goes down to everyone's perception of what a Zombie game/movie/...
The difference is that Planetside was already interesting to begin with. The complains I have with the alpha is mostly how boring it was. Hit detection could be solved, IA issues can be solved (you could just walk pass zombies and they wouldn't even react to you being there), but the place is actually boring, movement is slow as well
Well, I played the H1Z1 alpha at the Razer's booth and it was honestly terrible. Hit detection was amazingly bad, graphics were last gen and it was just boring. The world was really uninteresting. If I were to choose a Zombie game, I would choose Dying Light, maybe Dead Island 2 or hopefully a new Left 4 Dead? They may not be MMOs, but they are far superior.
Vehicles? More like Mobile Camping Transports
The Destiny Beta will keep us entertained for a while
What I found out is that, on all the past games, being first was a nightmare, you got constantly hit by stuff, however, in MK8, if you are anywhere between 2nd and last place, you are fighting for survival because EVERYONE will hit you with anything. Most of the items you get will not affect first place, will just affect the rider above you.
The blue shell rarely shows up, but, first place develops such a distance advantage on the rest of the pack (because they keep destroyin...
I don't consider myself as a Pro, but yesterday I started my first online session and I won around 90% of the races (no cheating obviously)
The best advice is to find the kart or bike that with the best specs but that also adjusts to the way you drive. All characters are different. My Mii doesn't have the same specs as Luigi with the same bike, tires, etc, so you have to test whats the best combination for you with each character.
In that sense, it is definitely true, but he should not undermine the efforts made by other studios to try and add new elements to the shooting genre, but he was probably talking about Call Of Duty which I would definitely agree.
@Metallox
But we are not talking about Multiplayer, we are talking about Coop which the games (New Super Mario Bros U and Super Mario 3D World) already have.
Agreed. Same with Diablo 3. It seems that they are implementing the cross play thing a bit more, but I hope it becomes a permanent feature for all games.
Same with purchases. Examples: I bought Strider for PS3, then my purchase should carry on to PS4. Same with a lot of other PSN games i have like: Xmen Arcade, Simpsons Arcade, TMNT, Scott Pilgrim, etc.
On my Wii I had TONS of Virtual Consoles games that are not available on WiiU yet. I had all Castlevanias,...
Well it's not true and there are examples that online coop can be done and done right.
Hardcorps: Uprising is a good example. It may not be a platformer but this particular game has some serious platforming and hectic sections that are more complex that a regular Mario Stage.
I just don't see a valid reason not to add it, unless they don't trust their network capabilities. If that's the case, then I understand, but then, I play Mario Kart 8 an...
Then don't show anything at E3 and reserve a great demo for Gamescon. Again, it is common sense and good PR. If you show a boring demo, you are going to get mixed responses. If you show a great demo, you will get great responses. It's not rocket science.
They showed a different part of gameplay in the Sony Conference and THAT looked way more interesting, so why wasn't that part included in the demo as a way to mix things up and show that the game will have variety...
