AO games are banned from stores and consoles. If this passes all M and some T rated games would be given the same age rating as AO and no store/console maker will touch them. Then the games would be ripped off shelves and HEAVILY toned down. Soon every game with violence will have a filter like Manhunt 2 and The Punisher had. People should import their uncut games from Europe and show the government that we don't want self censored video games and will give our money else where to get th...

That what I think. Teach them that what they are doing in T and M games is wrong and how it would hurt/kill people in real life and get you arrested.

I told people that this bill would cause the banning and censoring of games in the US and they all called me insane and a sky is falling type person. If this happens and games are censored I will say I was the one who warned them and no one listened!!!!!

If this passes then video games that are M rated will be ripped from shelves and toned down to get a T rating. M games will be the new AO and the highest rating allowed in store shelves will be T. Australia will be able to get away with more in games then America because of their 15 and up rating. So Americans will start importing their uncensored video games from other countries and the US will start loosing money because of the massive censorship that will happen.

Seems like there have been a few games out with nudity and were not banned with the AO rating and just got an M rating. Looks like the ESRB is growing up a bit and not being so puritan. :)

It would get an AO rating. Too bad the 360 isn't region free. >:(

I have been telling people that this is what the law is really meant to do. Censor violent video games out of existence.

That is how the government will ban video games here. M games will be treated the same as AO rated games since M is also now 18 and over and be ripped form store shelves. They will give any game that they don't want on shelfs an 18 rating and because of they Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo and every store will ban it because of its adult rating. Then the highest rating will be T for teen and Australia will no longer have the lowest age as their highest rating. It will be America with 13+ as t...

I hope not Walmart censors all media that come into it so it can keep its family friendly status. Uncensored music is forbidden and some video games are banned from sale like GTA 3 when it came out Walmart didn't sell it.
