Games that have been uber censored JUST to be ALLOWED in the market. M and heavy T games would be banned from sale because of the 18 age certificate and only light T and below would be allowed for sale. Australia would be able to get away with more with their M15 classification. I hope this does not water down games from Europe. I was going to import all my games from the UK where adults can play games.
The US is VERY prudish on nudity and what is ok with an 18 rating in Europe is TABOO in the US and banned from sale.
Sex is forbidden in the US in games.
They will be treated the same as AO rated games. AO games are not allowed in stores and consoles. This will make all M games heavily censored and be treated like games are in Germany and Australia.

Politicians get votes from parents for trying to ban and censor video games from everyone.
They should be the ultimate censor, not the government. There are parental controls on systems for a reason.
Plus with the whole fining thing stores will choose to not carry the more violent games for fear of being fined if someone slips up and sells the game to a minor, and are sued for more then the game is worth in multiple sales.
AO games are banned from retail and consoles because of the 18 and up age on it. This will do the same for M rated games. They would be ripped from shelves and toned down to T rated. This will ALSO affect Canada who use the ESRB as well. They will get the same censored games the US gets. So Canadians better hope this does not pass as well.

AO games are not allowed because they are for 18 and over. This would make M games 18 and over there for banning them the same way as AO games are. Forcing massive censorship equal too or rivaling Germany's censorship.
Each state would have their own censored version.:(
There will just be less of them. Also games will be censored to get an R18 as well.
Those were so violent they were given the AO rating and had to be severely toned down.
If this passes video games would NOT be protected and government can ban and censor what they please. They could make laws saying its a crime to own a violent game and have them classified like drugs.
