Being able to Fly would be an Excellent addition in any capacity. I think its pretty obvious that this Zelda will be Nintendos' take on a GTA style open world game. Have no worries. What I am interested in knowing is considering this Zelda will be huge open world game, will it also have online multi-player? That could boost console sells about 5 million easy if it does. imo
The news of no Mario means for the Next 2 years it will be all about volume, so I expect a New Metroid Prime and F-Zero and a new IP to be announced at E3.

I need to see what kind of use the Gamepad has in this. It was suppose to be the selling point of the Wii U version. Ubisoft played themselves holding the game back just to release it right after Bayonetta and right before Smash, so for $60 it will sit for a while. There best bet is to hope a Holiday buy 2 get 1 free sale can help them.
I hope they can get Xeno out by June, Devils Third out by October, Starfox in November and Zelda in December.
The relation between the Neo Geo, Jaguar and Dreamcast is that although they were great consoles for their Generation, ultimately the failed to achieve success in remaining relevant in the console business.

Ok, I see where the slight confusion may be. I'm not stating that Wii U does not need any third party support, I'm stating Wii U does not need the same 3rd party titles as PS4, XBox or PC. Lets take Assassins Creed for instance, what if Assassins Creed 4 was exclusive to Wii U. According to recent history, it would have flopped because 3rd parties don't sell well on Nintendo Consoles. However if Nintendo backed it and pushed it like they would a Mario game, or Just Dance, its sale...
Bayonetta is a perfect example to watch and see how it performs. It's success will test if the Wii U will be taken seriously as console for mature games.

At this point does it even matter. Third parties continue to disadvantage Wii U game sells by releasing late or crappy ports. Do me a favor, Don't do me no favors, if you don't want to support the Wii U than just don't.
It would make more sense to make a third Red Steel based off Red Steel 2 and a New No More Heroes anyway. Every console does not have to have the same games to be successful.

Maybe, but the reason I buy Nintendo consoles for primarily 2 reasons: Metroid and F-Zero. For me, everything else is extra. They could also release another No More Heroes.
I'm glad Mario Kart is coming, but if F-Zero doesn't come out with online play... Nintendo will lose me as a customer. It's that serious.
