3rd parties don't have to "restructure" games to play on Switch. 3rd parties will need to "scale" back most of their games to run on Switch. I think a Big misconception is that all 3rd party devs look to max out a console when they develop a game which is far from truth. 3rd parties just simply need the "will" to want to put their games on the Switch. If Madden, COD and MK can run on tablets and cellphones, they can certainly run on the Switch.

Having an X1 and a Switch I can see portable/hybrid gaming becoming the standard, while powerful home consoles will become more of a Niche in time. All that really matters is that its easy to develop for, now if 3rd parties don't support, you know its becasue they just dont want to. No more excuses.

Have you seen all the games for 2017 alone? The Switch will be comparable to PS4 by mid 2018 and unless XBox does something special at E3, I see the Switch beating it out in worldwide sales in 18 months. XBox is busy focusing on a new console when they haven't done anything with the X1 or XBox S.
Launch day is purely for Zelda but Fast RMX and MK8 are slated early enough for me to buy it day one. Keeping my eye on Has been Heroes also

These specs may be right but dated. This leak is from July and when the Switch was announced, developers reported getting newer more powerful dev kits. Second, who cares, The Wii U produced games that were actually better than X1 and PS4 in its short lifespan. Its about games, not specs. Nintendo has always believed that cartridges where a better media for gaming than disc, so I would say in there eyes, Yes. Their stance has always been that carts are less taxing on the hardware. Now because cartridges are basically SD cards now, I'm curious as to the MAX size of the cartridges. I mean technically the could pack 256GBs but I doubt that's what they are going to be. I would say 64GBs which is pretty large even for games today on X1 and PS4

Voice chat app is an option. The app will work directly with the console. Sometimes we forgot that although Nintendo is quirky they are also very smart and business savvy.
