I hope this is true, lets face it, Ninty wont compete against X1 and PS4 in terms of power, so going portable with their games and system plus the success of Pokémon Go, this could really be a winner.

Focusing just on their exclusives which have been excellent and no need to list them all here, but those excellent first party titles haven't been enough to carry the system, its tanking. I got mine ordered. But I'm a big Gears fan, and definitely excited for this title and collectors edition shown here.
I grabbed the season pass for $50 AUD, and soon it will be $80 AUD. The game on Day 1 here was $80 at most places. But, the DLC promised is far larger than what was offered for FO3 and NV, so I'm ok with this. Plus, if you don't want it, don't buy it, or buy the ones you want instead. Either way, if you don't have a season pass, the individual prices will exceed $80 AUD anyway, more closer to $100 AUD. But it does raise eyebrows when DLC can exceed the cost of a game, but...

Sales figures are always great for fans to tout their systems success. For me, its always been about the games. In this case, exclusives are what differentiate the two, along with online perks and DLC etc. So that aside, consider each consoles attachment ratio. I've always thought launching with the titles you just mentioned is a great idea, and having big power under the hood also. But, what I've learnt over the years is this means nothing. If Nintendo do this, then we have 3 consoles, all doing the same thing? Do we need that? What separates each machine then? Who has an exclusive title, or DLC? Which interface is better, who gets the better free games each month? Personally, I'd rather Nintendo be on its own, doing what it does...
I was never one to like headsets and always laughed at folks that paid big money for them. However when I was at the EB Expo 2015 (Sydney) and got hands on with many games,they were all shown off with Astro A40's. I was blown away. Literally I went out and sourced the A50's as I needed wireless and I've enjoyed Halo 5, Rise of the Tomb Raider and now Fallout 4 with them. Its truly amazing and so crisp and just brilliant. Much better than having it well below the X1 version when it comes to enemy fights which in all honesty the game is full of. Either way, its just nitpicking and if you've ever bought a Bethesda game then you should be well aware of bugs and issues on Day 1. More Hard Drive space is a good thing, especially when its at no added cost. But at least you can hook up an external and have 16TB if you wish. I have 1 x 4TB drive and its more than I need. But I totally get why folks want a bigger internal, it just becomes a matter of balancing cost with value. Sure MS could put a 4TB internal in the console, but would we want to see costs rise? No chance.

I think it looks like a good lineup, but as for E3 and the new IP, it may still not release in 2015, much like Quantum Break. But, definately compared to PS4, its at least got 2 big hitters with Forza 6 and Halo 5. But with the slew of delays this year already, accross many consoles, this is a time I'd hold my breath till the games are on the shelf.
