Even if that IS the explanation, it's a punishment for players that "suck" and thus need to PAY for their inexperience? That is downright cynical. Dead Space 3 isn't played in the arcade halls; you paid the admission price already.
I think it's more a justification than anything else. Perhaps they could've just called it a GOTY edition or something, but then people would still ask for the exclusive content to be available separately. Sucks people that own Dragon's Dogma are basically paying for additional currency and stuff, but it's something, I guess.
I don't think it's to compete; Bigben periodically brings out special controllers. They did one for Black Ops II as well. That said, I do agree the Xbox 360 controller definitely looks better
Very true, we tried to make a list that truly encompasses why the platform is great, even if the game's aren't well-known, rather than applying ourselves to the same 10 or so titles anyone has seen, which is also why games like the excellent Killzone or MGS2, Gran Turismo and so on aren't present. The article does mention not once but twice that it's impossible to please everyone with a complete list that spans over ten thousand titles.
After some extremely h...
And this is a hassle free way to get acquainted with it, for future use. Simply in the sense of unison, I'm sure it's good to have some Adobe knowledge, just like Windows isn't necessarily be the best OS, but it will probably be a uniform topic addressed in just about any game development part.
Ha, with your username, you might be interested to know that it comes from the makers of Alice: Madness Returns.
I'm not even entirely sure if it is in fact an actual game or some elaborate troll. The game's mock website is everything a scam site would look like.
I don't believe Sony "holds a grudge" against used sales; more than any other console does. If they did, they wouldn't set up exclusive deals with notorious second hand retailers.
That said, I think the patent is more so to pass the buck to other companies. Like they did by providing the freedom to region lock games, but not enforce it on PS3; this will fall back on a company's decency and we all know how decent they feel about used sales (online passes...
Rage was 2011, though I'd agree it's vastly overlooked. That game was awesome.
That's the attitude I'm employing. As long as they're not sacrificing the singleplayer, there can be multiplayer for all I care. The article is also not enforcing that there would be MP shoved in, merely that the inevitability would call for a way to bring that to a satisfactory end. If it's decent, then it's a nice bonus. That's how I felt about games like Space Marine and recently Far Cry 3; didn't need it, good enough nonetheless.
I updated it here as well, just to be sure.
Are you certain? It should be worldwide. At least, I could access it freely and I'm in Europe as well.
The original picture fro the article received a very unfortunate cutoff on N4G, I must admit.
Saints Row wouldn't necessarily be over the top again (though that certainly seems the way they're headed with it). That DLC could just release as a theme within an otherwise toned down game. However, seeing as the DLC tactics of SR3 were THQ's major financial boost, I'd doubt they'd want to step away from that in possible future iterations.
Well, I bit the bullet and gave the story a hit, since I don't believe it should necessarily be considered flamebait to write a harsh review on a well-known game.
Now, the review does seem extremely odd to me. It's not just the styling that smushes everything into 1 paragraph or the writer's inability to predict proper punctuation. He has a strange contrast between having a decent lyrical style and not knowing how to handle it; I have no idea why. It is more in li...
You're most welcome. As a funny anecdote (funny now, at least): Metro 2033 strained my previous PC to death and melted some of its parts. That was not a fun time.
You'd be foolish NOT to have grabbed the Humble Bundle, for whatever sum. But it's still a great solution for people that are truly so broke, they can't spare anything right now.
I totally agree that it's emotive, powerfully gripping to the point of tears even. I mention it in the review.. But nothing excuses the fact that Ep5 is barely a game, almost not even. It's asking money to receive the ending. The series, as a whole, is a no brainer purchase, which is also mentioned.
They conveniently opened a PayPal donation to help out with that.
Thanks for commenting, first off, I appreciate it. As the guy in the clip, I do admit that, at that point in that particular video, I'm not paying attention...anymore, because the game failed me prior in every way. Since you're so amazing at the game, it wouldn't be hard for you to see that these are the final hours of the game. Aside from that, I never got the "you just suck" cop out. Even if I did, which I'm not saying I don't, my failings should be on my end, ...
