Huh, it looks like a gameboy to me.
Everyone gonna have a slant, I don't care if you own all systems, pc, and everything, your going to favour one of them over the others, for a various host of reasons, it could be anything. So to answer your question, No it can't really be avoided.
Yeah agreed,
I think they associate Sports with just diehard fans, so they don't care about anything other than the ability to play their fav. team.
Not really, my friend hasn't had his console banned at all, mind you he doesn't care about multiplayer, nor does he use Xbox Live, and he gets all his games off torrents, I'd say that's pretty cheap, and he manages to download updates for the games. Beats me how he does it...
To me it's all about the gameplay, you can have an amazing story, but if the gameplay element sucks, or is broken, the game isn't gonna go far, and will break down.
A game that has good/great gameplay, but a crappy story or mediocre story, is still gonna draw people, for it's awesome gameplay mechanics (See Gears of war).
Obviously it'd be best to have best of both worlds, or an equally good game mechanics and storyline.
All the reason to just make mass effect A PS3 or PS4 exclusive! Just for format security! ;)
But seriously, I'm constantly impressed at the sales of 3rd party games, even though 95% of them are leaked, and there are tons of modded 360 who dl games...i know a few personally, not that I agree with it. Again just surprising, which is why 3rd party developers will develop, until they see a negative impact on sales...like the PSP.
Building your computer has always been cheaper to do than up until recently...I personally build all my own computers....
Haven't played Darksiders yet to weigh in...But all good games borrow from other games as inspirations...
I agree there were alot of reboot games in 2009, but I'm sure there will be just as many if not more in 2010 and on.
Someone is gonna get it right and get a video game movie right. Just like for the longest time, movies based on comic books were crap...anyone ever see like the straight to video Flash or similar like?
I think it's definitely a good thing personally, something you can share/bond over, like anything else, whether it movies or something else, I think it's definitely apositive. And my girl is great at action adventure games, like Prince of Persia...or God of War.
Pretty good article...I'm surprised Xbox 360 did as well as it did in the face of stiff competition.
They pratically didn't have anything in the first party department, Halo Wars, Halo ODST, Forza 3....I'm sure i'm miss some others, but either way that's not exactly a stellar. Lets just say Xbox 360 had in previous years a better first party line up, in my mind.
They did like the article mentioned a pretty good downloadable title in Shadow Complex...and some GTA IV ...
Sexy Trailer, now lets see what other goodies they'll announce at the Tokyo Auto Show.
I thought Fallout to me, was kinda of influenced by the Mad Max Movies..
I'm pretty sure actually the EA (Need for speed series) and Msoft/Turn 10 has some sort of exclusivity deal with Porsche, or they'd be in GT5.
I'm disappointed it sounds like no realtime weather! :( but the other stuff sounds great, and some licensing/announcements at the Tokyo show?
MistaT, it may be their deals with other publishers, or companies, exclusivity deals....just like Big 3 has with publishers...
All of them classics...I personally liked Mother...
That would be an interesting take...and refreshing to see if the publisher/game dev goes this route.
With guides and walktrhoughs on the internet, it has taking a bit of the challenge away from a game, cause if you get stuck, your one click away from reading it, and playing through that section. hell Now there is video walk through, so all you have to do is watch, and replicate the scenario, and your fine.
