This is probably due to them making sure all the old PS3 Slims are cleared the channel, and they can send out their new PS3 Slims with 40nm processor, the one they turn on a profit on.
But bad timing with their big releases in Feb/March, etc.
Sorry, most sites have listed as PC, and only recent developments does it say it only "MAY" come out on PC.
They should, or get more first party studios under their belt, they got the money, they could surely do something like this. Or License it out, like what Capcom does alot of times.

Yeah it all depends on the software that comes up, is there that killer software that draws people to natal, and move, and obviously price.

Ps3 has made a nice come back, being roughly 4.5 million units back, after a year heard start for msoft. Couple with a disastrous launch of 500-600 dollars, shortages (When there was initial demand), followed by a good 6 months of not much.
Now there is a steady stream of games, all those early issues are long history, yet during a key period when big times games out, they had supply issues yet again lol.

Sony faced off against both SEGA and Nintendo, who were much more experienced, and beat both their pants off, on their first try!
Unfortunately for MSoft they didn't face similar success on their first try, and who knows if they'll finish 2nd or 3rd even with the year head start (Natal is the wild card).

Sony Fiscal 2009 Ends at the end of March 31st, 2010...Sony will have sold more PS3 in the fiscal year than 360, Worldwide...North America it was 360, Europe it was PS3, and Japan same thing.
You know why Msoft dropped 129.99 in CDN, PS3 has outsold 360 in Canada for 4 straight months, and Outsold the Wii last month, and it's having Supplies issues here (I'm from Canada).
Msoft response is to aggressively price 360, as a TEST, if it proceeds to outsell PS3 in Canada, it'll keep it. They don't really have a reason to do so in US, cause it's already outselling PS3 there.
Well that makes sense, you generally design on how you project yourself, or wish you'd look like.
