The thing is it doesn't have to move millions of units in one day (like all those overrated shooters). Final Fantasy and GoW3 will be out around the same time and there'll be alot more PS3 owners. GT5 will have incredibly long legs.
...then zenosaga hit it right on the button. It's called Gran Turismo, a franchise where every game has sold over 10 million copies. The freaking demo sold 4 million copies, imagine how much the full game will sell.
Come March the "sales" attacks and arguments will finally be put to rest.

No disagrees needed, it's true. This just proves that overated games like CoD and GTA will get perfect scores no matter how obvious some flaws are. Imagine if Uncharted 2 was multiplat, it'll have a metacritic score of 99.

Well I own the game so I'll give you my reasons on why I think it's rushed:
MS haven't had a "AAA game" since Gears 2, they needed one this year.
They wanted to get the game out before GT5 so there wouldn't be direct competition.
Graphics are outdone by the competitions year old "demo".
Not a very large upgrade from Forza 2 (look at Uncharted 1 to Uncharted 2).
