The Ipad 3 could have the latest graphics chip and it wouldn't make the slightest difference because it still won't have buttons, a dedicated online network, high production value exclusive games..etc.
These Vita-Iphone/Ipad comparisons really need to stop.
No, this is completely different. Mobile texting is sending messages to anyone with the ability to receive them...i.e they have a mobile phone.
Think of it this way, being able to send a text message from your Vita to your friend who uses a standard phone via texts.
That's very awesome, the next thing the store could benefit from would be short user reviews.
Really? But it sounds right when I say it back in my head. xD
Give us the ability to send text messages and I could all but throw my mobile phone away.
It'll constantly be improved with firmware updates but there's no reason not to buy it right now.
Good. ^_^
I'm still struggling to decide which version to get. I don't really want to end up buying something that's just considered an "experiment" but on the other end I can see how it might come in handy for the future.
Those are very generic tips, everyone who has used a handheld in the past 10 years knows this.
@superrey
You're comparing a company as big as Microsoft with Valve, you can't do that.
You're not wrong, they're completely software focused. I don't think it would work out well for them suddenly switching to hardware. Sure they make a lot of money, but it would cost billions for them to invest in something like this.
Santa now works at Valve? Interesting. :3
'bad hardware design'
Oh please, you don't see other games having the same issues as Fallout and Skyrim. The development team are the problem here, not the hardware.
Completely agree, the way Bethesda is treating the PS3 is disgusting.
That was a 4.10 feature.
Sorry, it doesn't work like that. You couldn't just plug in a Vita via the USB and except the hardware power to suddenly be transferred to the PS3.
'not because they are bad games'
How do you guys know that? Do you have some kind of crystal ball that lets you know? Nobody knows if these games will be good or bad until release.
Shame it's not optional here in the UK.
vstep is right, at least in the UK it's mandatory.
Jesus Christ, what is this obsession with every product needing to be a phone?
If we get the ability to send text messages in the future then great but It doesn't "need" to be a phone at-all.
