@Wyvern
Actually Shuhei Yoshida confirmed that the PS3 couldn't handle it due to RAM issues.

It's true that most of the games featured are making their way to the Vita but the way the trailer was made seems to be suited more for something like Home. It's basically saying "Well you've both worked hard playing this game, now relax in your pad and meet other people".
I suppose that's why it's called a Beta.
Well obviously, people are curious about the service and the £1 offer, demand will soon go back down once that's over.
Hopefully a more established company will develop something similar. I wouldn't mind seeing Sony adding something like this to their store.
Sure, Sony are going to make a trailer about something that no longer matters.
How about Aliens? (I don't mean AvP, just Aliens itself).
How could he be serious when it's not even possible? :P
Imagine formatting that by mistake
"Sorry sir, it's my first day"
Cross-Game Chat seems to be almost certain at this point, considering how the Vita will have it.
Why would you want a calender on a console? Actually scratch that, it could be a good idea...imagine a calender that also highlighted upcoming events like game releases or updates.
I wish people would stop using that concept picture, it's horrible.
Badly? They've been using the same basic design since the days of the PS1, obviously they're doing something right.
Where are ND located?...just wondering.
Changing the rating because it's wrong.
To be fair, $800 isn't even that much considering what you're getting.
Then sgain, all technology is expensive at the start.
Not sure how a wireless headset would work, the battery needed would weigh too much.
Why should they stop? People are obviously going to buy it.
It's not even that expensive when you compare it to standard 3DTVs.
$800 is a steal for a 150 inch 3DTV with 5.1 surround sound.
6 years is a long time to be stuck with technology, it's definitely time for the next generation.
Neither am I.
I've played some games on their service, it is pretty good but it's not enough to make me want to stop playing my consoles or normal PC gaming.
I ask you, if hardware is bane of everyone's existence then what about servers going down for maintenance? The last time I checked I could still play my single-player games if the PSN or XBL networks were down.
