Hitman as a franchise was just one year off from making the list.

but the same kind.

We don't have enough MMOFPS, MMOTPS or MMORTS games. The only ones I can think of that come close are Combat Arms, A.V.A, Parabellum, Huxley, Global Agenda and BattleSwarm.

Borderlands would be the perfect MMO that we have never played before. I'm tired of all the mythological, fantasy-based, Asian-themed MMOs.

River City Ransom, too? Man, I loved that game. River City Ransom 2 had more fighting moves and better stage designs, but the original was just an absolute classic. They recently released a pseudo-sequel called Badass Rumble for the PSP.

Back on topic...

Loaded was all right; the best part about that game was the soundtrack.

'F' word that would be yelled constantly as the army topples in on itself...mainly from the ego-throbbing pubescent teens lobbing grenades at each other.

Microsoft constantly finds ways to usurp user control from the consumer at the expense of more people pirating software.

It's funny because if you look at the MMO market they utilize a variety of pricing models that succesfully curbs pirating. In comparison to other standard software MMOs are pirated far less.

Instead of always trying to find ways to keep people restricted and offering less usability (honestly why is it harder running older programs on newer Win...

I think the other problem is if a private server radically adds new content or actually makes the game more fun than the original. Then there's the issue of the company having to compete with a no-namer who is filtering money in from gamers who like a more enjoyable, private product.

Given the size of this game I kind of wish there were a few more...but this was still a cool set of tidbits, nonetheless.

I love how time-sensitive material gets approved and makes it to the front-page after they have expired. Excellent community-driven work fellow approvers. A true, shining example of flamebait always taking center stage over everything else.

It's just a better looking version of the past titles. Jack was pretty brutal in the first two games. Not to mention, this third game has some odd looking weapons that makes the whole thing seem a bit cartoony. 0_o

This seems like a game worth keeping an eye on.

There needs to be more games like this. The fact that the frying pan can't drive [correctly] makes it even more absurd.

This game is going to blow everything else out of the water.

It could happen.

I love how when the PS3 version isn't dominating these articles get ALL kinds of reports from the fanboys.

For $200??? Ha, where do you get one of those?

Are some darn wise words.

But if last holiday was anything to go by, I think those poor people might actually wish for and buy a Nintendo Wii.

Sounds like a pretty darn cool MMO.

I'm sure you'll be getting e-mail bombed by some angry video game nerd who's meager self-esteem was crushed, since it resides in the "size" of his hardware that he probably paid a hefty sum for.
