The fanboy denial across the internet is immense and infuriating.
WHY is this so forgivable?
All over N4G, Gamefaqs, Reddit and even Neogaf, there are just a bunch of excuses made as to why there are such clunky, non-user friendly services that gamers have to deal with just to play games.
It's a farce and it's inexcusable.
This is the main reason I like sticking with Steam. It still takes up crazy bandwidth but it...
I hope the FTC investigates real hard and something ugly happens to EA... and Microsoft.
I know you don't care about bubbles... but bubs+ well said.
So why was Sony able to do it with the PS4 but Microsoft can't with the Xbox One?
It doesn't matter if it replaces files, it's still a lot of storage and bandwidth.
The MDF really are just as bad as the SDF when it comes to defending their brand and console.
Both systems need external support or memory cards ASAP. I can't believe we're in 2014 and the systems are still so locked down that you would think they're medieval virgins with chastity belts on.
Yep, it's easy to extend those caps when games average 30GB+ and you have patches that clock in at 13GB.
Steam is already testing my limits every time I open it and 10 games need patches ranging from 10MB to 1GB.
7. Fix their sh*t before releasing it.
Dude, it's all over N4G and blend:

... Microsoft got caught...
Dang, some people are kind of thick these days... or reputation managers. It seems as if "illegal" and "unlawful" don't register.
Dude, we watch videos, read reviews and scour game sites for information so we don't get caught up in "paid propaganda".
The whole point of using sources that are balanced and fair and critically objective is so you can make an informed purchase.
I love how so many people excuse this common practice as "okay".
Wolf Team was pretty cool. I remember that game. Man, it was kind of an underrated F2P FPS, though.
You can file a complaint to the FTC if you think they're being unruly with their bribery:

People who want to be informed.
Because that's what updated news stories are for.
Except when it's unlawful according to the FTC fair advertising regulations.
@theWB27
Dude, just no.
3GB out of 8GB? That's massive. Even early iterations of Windows 7/8 didn't use anywhere near that much before they were updated.
And you're presupposing that the OS footprint will decrease. Do you have proof?
The PS3/360 had far smaller operating systems and weren't doing all this other multimedia crap.
Yeah but the RAM overhead is nearly three-times that of a normal PC. That's not efficient for the long haul at all.
Feels a little like the comments here aren't grounded in reality, lol.
It is a copy and paste of Windows 8.
I don't know why you got disagrees but it's literally Windows 8 without the bright colors and it's actually harder to navigate, or would it be cumbersome?
Dead Rising 3 has multiplayer?
