Yeah Im not too sure anyone is going to give a racing sim GOTY, I dont care how many cars or whatever is in it, the fact is its still a boring ass racing sim. Woohoo, cars driving down a road. Thrilling stuff. Its not even all that much fun to drive real cars, no less fake digital ones that dont even look as good as real cars.
That award is going to games like Mass Effect 2 before GT5, Im certain of that.

Im pretty damn sure if they were already pressing discs, they might have let us know when the game is even coming out, so people can start planning for the holidays. No date yet, discs are not being printed. Take that one right to the bank.
Yeah Im with you. If someone told me today its not coming out til 2012, Id just shrug and go play something else. I dont even care about GT anymore. This game is just vaporware, so Ill just go play games that actually exist.

All this time and there's still no livery editor, which is a very nice thing to help making some lame stock car that everyone else in the world has, feel like YOUR car. Nope, cant get that in this game so epic its missing features that make its competitors great.

Im surprised you waited this long. I cancelled before the 11/2 date was scrapped since I never believed it would come out. At this point GT5 is off my radar until I see it on a shelf, which I do not believe for 1 second will happen this year.

I agree with you about peace walker, but thats closer to what MGS3, which is my favorite MGS game.
I discovered in MGS4 that unless you're doing a BBE run, sneaking in that game is completely useless. Sure you can play it how you want, and I wanted to play it sneaking around, until I realized that if I get caught I can just obliterate everyone in 30 seconds.
It just got too far away from what I love about MGS. Great production values could not save it for...
Arkham is a great example of a game where NOT sneaking has dire consequences, same with MGS3. But MGS4 on the other hand is very different, and I didnt like it because of some of the decisions Kojima made with the core gameplay.
Stealth died with MGS4. That game is barely even a sneaking game, compared to something like MGS3. Unless you're doing a no alert run, sneaking in that game is useless with snakes ridiculously over powered arsenal and the ability to just press start and buy ammo. So much for procure on site. I hated that game. MGS3 rules.

FYI, the game was not announced to go gold, and no release date has been announced. Jesus relax people. All we heard was some hearsay information from a gaming site noones ever heard of, and all of a sudden the game is gold and coming out in 2 weeks? Hehe, yeah ok good luck with that.
