Yay you cant change the rims or paint 800 of them! Worth the 5 year wait.
It's been about 10 years since I last played a racing sim where you can only customize about 200 of them. This isnt much better than GT3, and even worse than GT4. Nice to see this series actually finding ways to regress.
Just hit the disagree button tho, haters gonna hate when when you all know what I said is confirmed as fact. Disagreeing wont change the games limitations.
Such a masterpiece that only 200 cars can be modified.
Like a livery editor, auction house (both in game and online), 450+ cars that are fully customizable?
Oh wait...
You know damn well if Forza 4 came out and only let you customize 200 cars, and if GT let you customize much more, then you would care about those rims all of a sudden, throwing them in Forza fans faces.
Well now you're getting your medicine from Forza fans, and it's deserved too after all the empty talk about this game, about things it never delivered. This game was supposed to be perfect, epic, the best ever. Im really struggling to figure out what about this game m...
This is just pathetic. No excuse Kaz. So basically you can only customize 200 cars in this game? The other 800 are just static shells with wheels? It's been about 10 years since I played a racing sim that only let you customize 200 cars. Forza lets you fully customize like 450!
GT is stuck in the past, and being surpassed by their competition. But naturally sony fanboi's will find some way to defend this ridiculous news. Its clear that 5 years was not spent just build...
Ahh, the daily GT5 release date internet rumor article. Little later today than usual.
Hence their epic fall from grace after their dominance last gen. This gen its just been one bad decision and mistake after another. They deserve 3rd place.
Of course. If you're young I would expect you to think this is the worst its ever been, but Legend of Zelda LTTP was worse than this, and so was Super Mario 64 for sure.
"there will not be another console from them."
That's pretty funny man, considering that within just 1 generation, they managed to beat Sony. We're 5 years into this thing now, and you know damn well you never thought 5 years would pass with MS still hanging around. They've established a very successful brand that will carry for decades now.
They've made quite a fortune on the 360, even with the hardware losses. Halo alone has made t...
Sure would be a dangerous walk in that park if they let MS beat them out of the gate again. It only took MS a 1 year head start to push Sony down from their dominance last gen. Not a single one of you thought that MS could ever do this, but here we are, it's a much different ball game now, solely due to that head start.
Imagine what a machine could do with parts in it that are 7 years newer than whats in the PS3. The games would look far better than anything we're see...
Nothing. It's called hype. Hype makes people see things as more than they actually are.
Im getting the game too, but I havent seen a single thing yet that convinces me that this game can live up to 5 years of hype.
Just found out on GTplanet that on the 800 "standard cars" you cannot change the rims. Nice, I havent played a racing sim in like 15 years that doesnt let you do this. So basically only the 200 premium cars give you the same functiona...
Wow fireworks! Ive never seen those in a videogame before. Worth the 5 year wait for this game.
Yeah we know what this is all about. The hardware in the PS3 and 360 is 5+ years old. After Sony's extreme dominance last gen, all it took for MS to known them down was get a headstart.
Ill bet anything they are at least researching far more modern technology than whats in the current machines, and will come out with something in 3 years while the PS3 still farts around with 7 year old parts in it.
In a week or so we'll find out it's not coming out on the 24th.
Looks like need for speed.
Hate to tell you this, but Forza 3 received stellar reviews across the board, and is in fact rated higher than all GT games except for GT3.
You can pretend all day that Forza sucks if you want, but pretty much every racing fan who played it loved it. Your reassurance posts dont convince anyone of anything.
This is just getting funny. So some nobody takes a picture of a piece of paper with some games and dates written on it, and suddenly it's a news article on N4G? Im just going to write any date on my ass and take a picture of it, I swear to you some GT5 fans will make some sort of excuse why it has to be right.
News alert..... there is no date until Sony says there is a date. Stop it with these useless articles already. There's 5 of these every day.
Im all for extras that dont serve a major purpose, but if you're going to do something go all the way with it. A guy rolls under the car, the meter goes down, then up, he gets up and leaves. I mean this is just the definition of what a useless cut scene is.
What about if they let us interact with it? Dress the scene up more, show him actually doing something? At least make it like those MGS4 cut scenes where you can move around and check things out.
That was pretty much the most boring thing ive watched in about a week. Why did they even bother putting that useless segment in the game? Just press a button, change the oil, get back to racing, no need to show a cut scene for it. So stupid.
Dont let them deceive you with that large number. Only 220 of them are actually finished. The the other 800 or so are just empty shells with wheels with only cosmetic damage, absolutely no customization, no working wind shield wipers, no cockpit view.
