Far Cry 2 had more realistic movement in the banana leaf type plants. These are too "bendy" in the wrong places. The Farcry and original Crysis did it right, had the correct "stiffness" to them. But I'm sure this is just demo.
Just out of curiosity, have there been any open-world type games utilizing the Unreal Engine in ANY of its iterations?
Only thing I found aggravating was that as far as I can tell there is no "All-in-Once" bundle for everything. And of course the fact that almost NOBODY has the sense to create items for download/sale at the sub-99 cent level... penny or dime items... would fly off the virtual shelves...
So crazy, those games already looked amazing because of the fixed camera and pre-rendered environments.
Success means sequel, sequel means improved game, hopefully, and maybe a single player campaign! I so would like a nice mech single player game
Leveling up is so last gen...
Begone! Lest the child of darkness consume youuuurrrr sooouuuuuuullllllll!
Remadestered is the unholy offspring of the two no one talks about...
Finally played the dlc, simply excellent story-telling and a lot of fun to play.
Great job ND.
Ah , i didnt read the article anyway :)
There are old PC games which are still far superior to their successors decades later and they are still playable on new monster machines. Nothing sad about it, especially since the PS4 library is not even ONE year young... Silly sentiment here
Cant wait to play gamma
I dont recall beign blown away by the skies... Weird. As someone mentioned above, for all its faults, RAGE did have some pretty skies.
Not to disagree with you entirely, but it is a well-known fact, or rather, widely observed phenomenon, that the "masses" aren't the defining examples of those with the best taste or sense for quality. They are often driven by what is socially popular, et cetera.
That, i believe, as well as "ease of use" is CoD's reason for success.
NOW, the first modern warefare, cod 4, was excellent on all counts. Visuals, gameplay, multiplayer, e...
Wouldn't hurt to change up the formula, well maybe sales because you never know about that when you change things.
But make an open world type CoD. Or semi at least. Bring some Medal of Honor Airborne elements into it. Maybe actually bring some MULTIPLAYER elements into the single player that you can use dynamically, drones, heli support and all that other "streak" stuff. Weapon customization in-game like original Crysis and i think to a lesser extent the Crysis...
How be it can more than something it isn't?
Mother of christ x 2 now... good lord.
No, he's right. It's probably a lot slower actually. He and others like him should never play a Sony.
In all reality though, I don't even know what to call the "installs" on PS4... it doesn't even seem possible to be what we ordinarily refer to AS an install. It's more or less instantaneous. I'm sure someone has a techy explanation though.
Wish they'd fix Windows 7 updates install/download times...
Is 8 any faster?
Mother of christ your comment history is sickening...
"If you don't like it don't buy it/comment on it whatsoever!"
I know, but I am becoming exhausted with what I feel is a market over saturated with "leveling up" "XP-obsessed" games.
I'm fine with underlying premise of it, but not the appearance, the overtness of it, how it his presented to the player/character within the game world, et cetera.
It could do with some concealment, The Last of Us and I...
