I wonder if it has anything to do with the screen size... Nah that cant be it.
English first language it is not
And Watchdogs before that
Screw the story, there just wasn't enough to do in the dang game and the worst part is, there was so much that could EASILY have been added to give it more longevity.
Mini hacking games (menu-based), more weapons (a few semi-futuristic ones could have been fun). Some special vehicles, et cetera. Felt like a modern game, built off a very old static game model. No bells and whistles.
No such thing as an agreed upon "best game," but in terms of quality, polish, other tangible elements, it sure is up there with the best of em.
Hating something and not having reason to LIKE something are different things
This could... sink the console. What if it just straight up doesn't sell anywhere...
If anything they need DLC that adds more to the base-gameplay... but we probably see all of that in a watchdogs 2... but honestly, this should have been set in the future, DEUS EX
All the hacking stuff need a lot of filling-out to be worth the time, it's so repetitive and pointless. Had virtually no impact on anything, can't BUILD off of it.
Ubi... just put more in your game to do and work on the pathetic draw distances.... jeez.
What did yal waste those extra six months on for god's sake..?
Well exactly... and ultimately, these are all really poor business decisions, disappointing your fanbase.
They are LOSING all the money could have made if they went the extra mile with their games.
eets... joke
He is male, therefore he is wrong and belittles women...
I'm not saying Western (I mean this in the sense of the idea of Western society, not geographical location.. .which also make no sense because everything is technically WEST of everything else... you just keep going west and you end up back where you started....... anyway)
I'm not saying Western society is perfect, still much to work on, but really this isn't the 60's, freedoms are in place already, yes those in regard to gender, sexual preference, et cetera s...
I don't recall exactly... but wasn't that character cut-off from a lot of the "real" world (in their fictional universe)? And so if she was naive/ignorant of many things... it would be entirely logical and understandable...
@familyguy
Well, what is it you are going to "explore" in the closed off areas? The rest of the game world has been pretty barren and while it is good looking, it isn't SO full of eye candy that exploration just to LOOK at the surroundings isn some amazing thing.
And as far as fighting other enemies, you are gonna shoot at them.... there you go.
Not exactly a game that sounds like it's going to snowball into more and more fu...
Was totally off my radar till I watched a demo... had no idea they were trying so many innovative things with AI and so forth.
Only downside, a personal one, is it seems more or less straightforward kill, kill, kill, which is what they are shooting for I'm sure. I just want so much more to do in games these days ever since Fallout and Skyrim and junk.
Still, looks top of the line for what it sets out to be.
Tomb Rider, starring Lara Croft in sexy western style bikini-wear on horseback and next gen boob physics. Bouncy bouncy anyone?
Sony exclusive.
Same here, it was totally polished, but I again bring up the Duck Hunt and Area 51 arcade game analogues. Enemies pop out, hide, pop out....
The rest of Destiny seemed to be the run-of-the-mill XP-fest/leveling marathon, albeit a very polished one as I stated.
Just, didn't grab me at all, despite the fact that I seem to be one of the few who ENJOYED Dinklage's voice work, not to mention the musical score and the universe they created.
...
Lets see if they fall in line with all the other bull devs and claim "nearly the same" performance on both consoles
It had promise, but it just doesn't deliver, they really should have pushed the game in a sort of Mass Effect way (even though Bioware could have done more too), need to have full and varied ship access, tons of upgrades and control, same for armor and weapons, in-the-field upgrades and weapon mods like in crysis, swap out stuff, fully customizable camo et cetera: basically tons more to do.... Even if they are just little things. More "meaningful" looting system, from scavenged ...
