Maybe it'll be a Wii exclusive, or, you link your Wii (if ya got one) to your PS3 and your friend can control MK 2 with the Wii while you control Snake (Snake's clone a.k.a, lil snake)...COLLABORATION!!!

This game would benefit immensely from overhauled graphics, the rest of the story, musical score and voice acting was and is superb. Please make this game!

I have to agree about the missing "wow" factor from the previews; no crashing drop ships, guys running around on fire, new revelations, no WOW. But it looked better than ever.
Find the other trailer if you can, on youtube. It is very sketchy with little actual footage, but the best thing is that they really fixed that one guy's face (I think Ricco) the semi black/hispanic dude. Looks Waaayyyy more realistic now despite the bad quality of the video.

There's really no next-gen space fighters out yet (don't know what Lucas Arts is waiting for) so maybe an awesome looking, first person interior cocpit (I know how to spell it, but it won't let me type it) type space invaders remake.
Seriously, why wouldn't they just put it on their own website, though have to know someone's just going to put it up elsewhere. Maybe in the past this kind of thing would have boosted tv ratings, but not these days.
