Looked totally fake, all old footage and VERY bad headlines throughout... totally amateurish, a well-made kind of amateurish, but not particularly convincing.
@ chewy317
That's not how it works, more efficient coding might reduce the need for using as much power as another game does, ergo there is more power available because they use less, if that makes sense to you.
I love the buildings, the way they seem thick and permanent and all and everything is moving... wish Command and Conquer would take this route, but what we get is freaking War Bears or whatever; I don't really care for the (sorry don't know the name) good guys' vehicles and stuff though. I like the alien ones more.
Erroneous, totally erroneous...
@ thereapersson @ Timesplitter14 = morons
I played the beta first of all, second I said exactly how it works, third how did my comment not make any sense? Oh, what? No argument to make? Every other game I've played has the grenades explode upon impact nitwits... don't try and explain to me how YOU think a grenade launcher is SUPPOSED to work.
Timesplierer14, did you play the beta? If you had you would have realized that what you've said, albeit true, is negated by th...
@ hi def freak
Actually the grenade launcher is kinda crappy, it looks awesome and seems awesome, but the stupid grenades only blowup upon enemy impact or after a timer runs down... it would have been better if they just blew on impact with any solid surface.
L2 crouch = idiots,
great game otherwise
Worst and least articulate reviewer at the site... Agreed.
What happened to the resuscitation beam!!! IT looked WAY better in the beta...

how could it look better in the online beta than in singleplayer?!!!
Did ya'll watch the IGN Video Review? What the hell happened to the resuscitation beam effect? I played the beta and it looked astounding and unique every time you fired it and figured it would look even better in the single player... how did this happen?
Anyone else know what I'm talking about?
This one I think we should just leave up to time to tell... wait two more years and if it happens we'll all be able to see it.
I do agree with the article though :)
ME: Yes, yes it is
So THIS... this is the "Open Zone."
I've heard about this place... I heard it was a place of wonderment and endless bubbles. That no one ever disagrees with you and fanboys are outcast.
Truly, this must be the place of legend...
THE END
Wonder if they ever use them for games...
Agreement, I'd also like to see a quick animation of the camera rotating down to look at your character's body, say in an FPS, and you can see him take his sidearm out of the holster, look at holster, undo clasp, pull out gun.. something similar for different weapons. It's crazy just seeing your weapons magically flipping up in front of you as fast as you can press the button. Floating camera games basically, you never really feel like you even HAVE a body.
Nice article:
Playing the "Badazz"-
Silent Hill 3 fixed this, but it didn't seem to take elsewhere...
Armageddon-
Heavy Rain appears to be fixing this problem as well as that of the "badazz" hero.
I would like devs to try making some games with one movie in mind, "The Burbs," from the eighties Tom Hanks' character (Mr. Peterson) is unwittingly elected "guardian" of his little corner of sub...
Sure it can, if they let you play as the zombies. Fuq! Everyone has automatic weapons, grenades, and tons of ammo not to mention crazy new quicktime beatdown moves... it sucks to be a zombie in RE these days.
It's still awesome, just not a survival horror game anymore.
Right, because all the months prior in 08 when the PS3 was beating 360 in sales at a higher price point don't come into consideration at all... ahhh, to be young again.
I had to disagree with you, but I agree with your sentiment; people DO still deny Killzone 2's visuals and it's sad...
I wish I could have agreed with you if your comment was worded a bit differently :)
I was happy playing CoD and MoH games well before the Halo series ever graced the earth with its presence... personally, I'm more interested in the RTS game than any of the FPS games, though the units are kind of dull on the (good guys') side.
