Totally agree, I wished they gave an install option for MGS4 instead of the mandatory periodic install crap which is the ONLY reason I don't play that game anymore.
You want to jump to a specific Act and play one five minute boss battle and then go back an Act and play that level then maybe forward again... nope, install, install, INSTALL!!!!!
So that's 38 Pesos right? They use Pesos in Canada, don't they.
Also, though you neither disagreed with my comment or explicitly indicated myself as being fanboyish, I did not mention anywhere about the quality of the game as being dependent in any way to the number of discs or that one platform was superior to another because of it.
Be realistic, any activity that isn't ACTUALLY PART OF THE GAME is not only an inconvenience, it removes immersion, it's risky (scratch one disc, you're screwed/put's wear on disc drive, et cetera) and the one thing a gamer should be concerned with... dun, du, du, dahhhhh... you guessed it, PLAYING THE FREAKING GAME AND NOT HAVING TO SCREW AROUND WITH DISCS WHEN ALL YOU WANT TO DO IS PLAY!!!
Since when did everyone start using disc-changing to burn calories, if you want to burn s...
um, you are a noob and my wee wee is bigger than yours... :)
BAM SUCKA!!!

Good point, here's hoping.
"...hopefully not four or five."
Holy crap! That was funny as hell when he continued to gradually increase the number of discs possibly needed when speculating about how many it could wind up being, I never EVER expected to hear FIVE even in the worst case... jeez!
If all the player controlled in that particular 3:48 (minutes/seconds) was talking that guy down and holding up your character's arms... then the ratio of player control and cinematic control is not very appealing.
Now the earlier previews as the FBI dude, where you actually get to move around, scan the environment with the glasses and so on, let you do quite a bit more.
Hopefully the final product will lean more toward those sequences.

"Also, based on several game reviews I have read, the PS3 often suffers graphical glitches in its games that Microsoft's Xbox 360 simply does not."
Worst article ever, I mean people can be fanboys, but it doesn't mean they shouldn't put some effort into it. This is just... retardation at its finest.
Time in the future.
FUQ!!! I read the title as, "REVEALS Silent Hill 2" so I took it as a remake on current consoles or a sequel to the movie, DAMN, DAMN, DAMN!!!
"tyres"
Anywho, Forza 3 really is pushing 360 further than ever... all the way on to TWO DISCS with less than !HALF! the roster of GT5.
Neato, this game must REALLY be something then.
Now THIS is a game I'd pay more money for... you listening Activision, I'm talking to YOU!!!
Unless Mod War 2 comes with 40 multiplayer maps, bots, 200+ weapons and an arsenal of attachments, camouflages (for weapons as well as clothing), customizable characters, et cetera they have ABSOLUTELY no grounds on which to base raising THAT game's f-ing price!
(note: I never pay full price for games anyway, shop smart, shop Amazon.com) ;)
You mean Julie Maus, who will never have a chance at life now?
That who you mean?
Nope, backup files ONLY work with the same exact PS3 as before (unless you manually backup regular movies and pictures, i.e. not using the PS3 backup feature).
For PSN games and content you must redownload, free of charge, on your new PS3 using your existing user account by going to your downloads list (everything you ever downloaded, except PSN store movies, should be there, dlc, games, videos, et cetera).
Game saves would have to be transferred manually as well, NO...
Xbox 360 Elite now 99.99!!!
Xbox 720 unveiled at 299.99 with Natal built-in !!!!

That's what it would take Microsoft to trump this announcement.
Consider yourself colored!
Not in a racist way... whoops.
I would take LG over this too, but I think this would be a good replacement for the crappy Silent Hill 5 game we ended up with; either way, Last Guardian and Alan Wake seem to be in drastically different genres to me.
So you're using the fact that bul-rays might reach capacity sometime later this gen as justification for why Microsoft opted to support the failed HD optical solution (which I personally believe, though I didn't intend to support HDDVD, would have won out if every 360 included a player)...?
You do realize that current PS3s are capable of reading the higher capacity blu-ray discs being developed, i.e. 500 GB discs... trust me when I say, those discs will NOT be filled THIS generat...
