I totally agree, this is sickening. Sony can do and say whatever they want and get very little criticism. I too own all 3 consoles so not having many ps4 exclusives don't really affect me, but why are so many making excuses and pacifying this. IMO Sony has always been known for their big blockbuster AAA titles.
@amiga-man Umm no, if we want to play the indie game and add those to the quantity, the 360 would be the winner in the quantity department.
I think it is funny that people (mainly sony fans) want to count indies in exclusive list this gen. But last gen indies didn't matter, it was all about the big AAA exclusives, which Sony definitely had more of.

I get what you are saying but IMO this type of logic only applies to hardcore gamers or people who follow the industry. The casual fan only cares about it being on their console and or getting it now.
These kinds of deals work well for the misinformed.

I keep trying to tell you guys but I get slammed for saying it but IT IS RIGHT THERE IN YOUR FACES. Yoshida has even come out and said it in multiple interviews. He has basically said that their focus is not big AAA games, they have become too expensive, and not worth the return of investment.
Sony and MS have switched marketing strategies this gen. Last gen, MS was focused more on advertising multiplat games like COD as their own and catering to the masses, with a sprinkle...
There is absolutely nothing wrong with indies, but when you are using them as a major selling point for your new $400 next gen console, I have an issue.

I would rather have 60fps with more cars and tracks than dynamic weather. I am cool with the sacrifices and additions turn 10 has made for Forza.
Sony's marketing team is simply amazing and incredibly smart. Sending this guy a controller knowing he is going to say "thank you for the controller Sony" is defintely worth the marketing dollars. They probably saved $100,000 on their budget by doing this simple thing like sending him a $50-$60 controller.
