Because you can talk about your experiences with the game and it's endings without spoiling it for others.
Is that really foreign to you?
@dragonfly
I cannot speak for the Witcher, as I haven't played it yet. But from what I have read and saw, the game seems kind of meh unless you are a huge Witcher fan. I have been so tempted to get it, but the people I know who have finished it, simply say, yeah it was cool. But hey...i won't know unless I play it myself.
U guys are so thirsty for console games. BUY A CONSOLE....LOL
Thanks for the spoiler alerts....i haven't finished the game yet but this is by far the best games I have played this generation. Graphics, story, Gameplay....this game has the total package!
Both of these companies are becoming more of a service. What do you guys think PS Now is? It's the starting point for psn to be come a service that can play games without Sony hardware. Same is happening with xbox live.
I keep saying this and I get a bunch of disagrees for saying it, but it is true. Both of these companies are heading to the same destination (a digital future), they are just simply taking seperate routs to do so.
@Aenea
I too own both consoles and the differences are not what people try to make them out to be. The specs/numbers say one thing but when you are actually looking at them side by side or on the same tv, the only differences you may notice are deeper blacks or a slightly brighter tone (real world test). Nothing changes as far as the actual graphics (textures, animations etc). In fact it has been proven several times, that the average person cannot tell the difference without special ...
@curtis92
Agreed, it is always interesting to me that these guys spend so much money building a rig, but would rather torture themselves by hoping that a console game comes to pc than buying the console with a guarantee.
Been longer than a full year...they promised this in 2013.
Oh...I am thinking about something else then. Thanks Allystemgamer!
Why would you want to skip intro's or cut scenes??? How are you supposed to know what the games is about??
Gamers are cheap (not in a bad way, but we are). People need to realize that this is NOT a gaming peripheral, its basically a wearable computer. I do not see this being below the $500 mark. Although gamers will be able to use it....it is not strictly for us.
Finally....This is the first article I have seen on this. I like MS new approach of pretty much leaving everything up to the developers, but this scares me because these devs might not want people to have access to their games on the new systems. I don't see RDR coming because they probably want to milk us with a $40-$60 remaster.
I like this, because it puts the pressure on the devs, a lot of times Sony and MS get blamed for a lot of things while the devs/publishers sit ...
For all of you guys that say Sony is just "gauging interest".... Ok you see that there is 3 million dollars worth of interest from fans and the game is CLEARLY worth the investment...so.give those who invested their money back, since you have tested the market for interest and see that there is plenty of it!!!
@lostdjinn
I like how you guys try to nit pick every xb1 exclusive and move the goal post to fit your agenda...lol
Yes...another Halo and Forza, they are great games
Yes...tomb raider....playstation owners are HOPING the game comes to the ps4 with no guarantee. At this moment in time as far as we know it is not coming to any COMPETING console. MS is not in competition with PC. The likelihood that this games is coming to the ps4 is very small.
...
@iceman
Dude..you talk as if Sony bought exclusive rights to COD...they bought limited time D... L...C,for 50 mil. The game AND the DLC is coming to xb1. So they are willing to spend that amount for bragging rights but not completely fund shenmue?? GTFO...this is a bad business practice and is not consumer friendly at all.
I find it funny that when Sony does something shady, people like you like to call it "business" but when MS does it it's wrong or bad...
I am interested in the game...i just hope it's not a side scroller or top down game. I want a full fledged AAA experience, with a deep story, and fun gameplay.
@Dabigsiebowski
I can see where u are coming from but these are the same types of practices that people accuse MS of being sleazy for! Sony spent 50 million on DLC for COD, but want fans to spend a couple million to get Shenmue going??? Asking the fans to pay for something that you (sony) can clearly fund yourself is a bit dirty IMO. Then there is the excuse of "gauging interest". If that is true, the millions the game has made so far proves there is a massive interest, so ...
If you don't want it, you don't have to buy it or use its functions. YOU HAVE A CHOICE!! You cannot have everything your way, no need to whine about it.
@newmonday
So I guess my cell phone has more exclusives/better games because I have exclusives like candy crush, and Granny Smith?
I know you and a few others may love these games but cut the crap. When we think of big exclusives, exclusives that push the hardware most people including the industry never counted those types of games. If we are going to consider those games in the list of exlusives, we must first admit that the xbox 360 had more exclusives than the ps...
If MS wanted COD DLC they could have had it. They have enough money to buy whatever they want. This tells me that MS is making a conscious effort to focus on exclusive rather than "TIMED exclusive content", which I can really appreciate as an avid gamer.
The funny thing is that people made fun of MS for spending so much money on timed DLC, but are now congratulating Sony for it. This hypocrisy is hilarious!!!
