I understand what you are saying BUT to a certain extent, first you need to understand what a true/real gamer is.
I have a Ps3 with Move, xbox with Kinect, and a Wii. I love Gears of war, Call of Duty (just got done playing), God of War, but I also enjoy playing my Kinect. Does that make me a "fake" gamer? I think it actually makes me more of a gamer than you are because I don't limit myself.

Yes you are right there is some lag, but not as much lag as everyone on this site tries to make it seem like. The move has lag as well, but if you listen to the people on the site you would thing the Move has absolutely non.
I have Kinect Move and Wiimote, and they all have there fare share of lag, when I move to fast on my Move controller it shows lag a well.
If you have played Kinect and you still don't like it then thats one thing but don't hate on...

Yeah...people on n4g want to see Kinect fail at all cost which is why I would be surprised if something like this gets through. I have kinect and it works pretty well for me.

Sounds good, whenever you do get a chance, check out dance central, Kinect sports, and fighters uncaged. Dance Central is my favorite, its actually pretty accurate and knows when you are doing a dance wrong.

The things that I stated are what made Kinect worth it to me. I never said I got it because it looked cool, I like the technology that is built into Kinect it is cool to use. You kinda twisted my words there.

I have not had a single problem with Kinect, no twitchy legs, broken arms, it also recognizes my face without a problem.

I can give you a very unbiased opinion, as I have all of the systems (plus Move and Kinect).
IMO Kinect is another step up in technology, think of it this way Move is the evolution of the Wii mote, and Kinect is an evolution of the PSEYE.

The answer to your statement is simple, they knocked it before they tried it. Then (like me) once they actually played it, they were surprised on how well it worked.

You guys are missing my point here. My point is that the Kinect is an improvement over the PSeye being able to track someone in 3d space vs 2d space without a controller is an improvement. Being able to track the players legs instead of the just the upper torso is an improvement. Plus I know that MS is going to support the Kinect, cant say the same for my PSEYE.

I agree with you I come from that same era, which is part of the reason that I am looking forward to it as well. Not for just the games but more so the novelty of being able to talk to your tv and or video game or control it with your hand. I mean if anyone would have told me that I would have a 3d tv in my house and would be able to use something like Kinect one day I would have been the happiest kid on the block.
