Its a beta/demo. Not the retail version.
Have any of you played the Crysis demo/beta? I thank crytek has just brought Killzone 2 type graphics to the 360, something that you fanboys said couldn't be done. Not to mention you guys aren't taking into account that this is Multiplayer(graphics are slightly different), its a beta, and the game is 2 months away.
Wow!! A lot of reveals in one video, haven't seen goro, lui kang, or ermacs xray.
Goro and Ermacs xray moves look like fatalities.

UMM what?? Are you guys paranoid? I never said that Crysis 2 looked as good as Killzone3, however I did say that it bring KILLZONE 2 (2) not 3, type graphics to the 360.

Yeah this does look really good, but that doesn't take anything away from crysis though, they both look amazing.

There are many people who are "genuinely astonished" by a lot games that come out, if I used your logic, there would be no such thing as a bad game.
Not saying that it shouldn't be praised for its graphical jump, but what else did this game offer????

Maybe because I give an honest unbiased opinion about video games. Maybe because I don't sway one way or the other because I am a fan of one particular brand.
Again, this is just my opinion, its ok if you don't feel the same, but folks on N4G treat most ps3 exclusives like they are heaven sent, when in fact there are only a few very good exclusives to date.
My personal favorites are: Uncharted 1&2, Heavy Rain, and God of War. IMO ...

IMO every ps3 exclusive is overhyped on this site...well every one except God of War. That game was the SHi@t (the ending sucked though).

UMM how about Killzone 2, IMO that game was sooo overhyped. I actually bought a ps3 because of how good people on this site said it was. While the graphics were nice, the game itself felt a little bland and unfulfilling.
nah I think it is the opposite way around, well at least on this site anyway. I read some of the things that people were saying on this site (while at work) then when I got home I was expecting this game to look like crap, then when I played it I wanted to punch myself for believing the crap that I was hearing on this site.

You are clearly misinformed my friend, the xbox is 3d compatible, I have played at least 5 3d games on it, and it looks amazing, but nothing looks better than call of duty in 3d so far.
Don't believe everything that this site tells you, it is ps3 fanboy central here.

Well I believe that they will do it right. Did you play MK vs. DC (most haven't) everything was done with video.
I don't think many people realize how much this game will be like MK vs. DC. Combo system is virtually the same, graphics the same, damage over time the same. The only true differences are gonna be that its more brutal, and it is in the 2D/3D format.
I loved MK vs. DC the fatalities were the only thing that sucked.
I hate that they put those EXTRA LONG combos in the game, save that crap for Street Fighter. That last combo was waaay to long. You might be out of life after that. There better be a combo breaker in this game.
I just hate those looong combos. The one at 0:47 was just way to damn long, most of your life will probably be gone after that. There better be a way to counter them.

I understand what you are saying, personally I didn't know that you could use anything other then the Ps3 to charge your controller.
My main concern was navigating the xmb or using the dvd/bluray player and not having to damn near walk to my ps3 to switch through a scene.
I am just frustrated with the short cord that came with the ps3, why would they do that?

IMO....It feels like they took a lot of technique out of the game and it is waayy to simple. I almost feel like I have to dumb myself down a little bit.
I do like the graphics (almost cinematic), and the camera angle, it changes on its own throughout the fight, so you are not always fighting on the same side.
I may be able to enjoy it overtime, maybe it's just gonna have to take a lot of getting used to, but as of now, I am 50/50 on these controls, as I t...
