You know what?...I was just saying this to a friend.
After playing both of them, if someone were to ask me between Killer Instinct and Dead Rising, which one was 1080p and which was 720p, I would have easily picked KI as the 1080p game and DR3 as the 720p one.
This is not good, but oh well, the game still looks fun.
I just noticed (after watching the video) that I was smiling the entire time. :o)

Sooo...I said screw it and I called. I told her that I knew what they were giving away xb1's and KI characters and I wanted to know what the criteria was to be selected.
What I was told is that they only a selected a few costumers (at random) and if you haven't already received the email, then you probably wont. They selected the people that they wanted to give these things to and its done basically.
They cant give this stuf...

No one is praising Indie support like what you are saying, it is what it is. Some Indies are good, a lot are not.
The only people I see praising indie games and using them to defend an argument are the Sony fans.
I think people tend to praise indies when there are a lack of AAA games.
I don't hate indies, for me they are just a pass time during the gaming drought.
I think the reason for the "hate" is because sony fans used to tease 360 users about having only Indies to play, while Sony had the biggest/best exclusives. Now that the tides have turned (at least during the launch window), all of a sudden, indies are "the sh@t", and its all about "preference".
I would encourage you to get both, however...if you have to choose one, think about what your friends are getting (for more fun online), what kind of games you like and what you think you will get the most enjoyment out of.
Oh and I played Killer Instinct (a riot) and Ryse (along with a host of other games), they are my favorite games at launch.
I was only able to play Octodad and Knack for the ps4, which is not a good representation of the system.

I called them and they said it was done at random (which is fair).
Edit: and besides...they are giving you the game for free anyway, just with Jago as the only character. You cant be to mad...lol
