Lol..yeah I was trying to figure it out too....think of it like a finisher. When that white skull pops up hit the right trigger (I think) then u use different buttons to do different things. It doesn't tell u what to press.
Yeah it is, the sound and action, made me feel like Maximus in a scene from Gladiator, with the guy yelling and taking bets in the background, and the crowd screaming or grunting when you do something gruesome. It was cool!
Ryse and Killer Instinct are easily my favorite xb1 games so far.
I cannot wait for other people to get their hands on it. The multiplayer is actually pretty fun, and you cannot say that for most single player focused games.
Maybe a mixture of both, until I have more incentive to go all digital. Something like a price advantage would be nice.
This is true...I played the game yesterday. I went through 2 matches without using a single quick time event. It is definitely your option to do so or not.
I couldn't remember what the fighting mechanic of Ryse reminded me of until I saw this article, and Batman is the perfect fighting mechanic to describe it.
EXACTLY!!! I basically wrote that to a mod...its like they promote fanboyism and want to hide the ps4's flaws or similarities to the xb1.
MODS BE CONSISTENT!!! YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO BE UNBIASED.
Oh wow...I just find it funny that people on this site got ticked off because the xb1 couldn't change the background pic. Now that we know that the ps4 cant either people on this site take the "oh its ok" approach....this is flipping HILARIOUS!!!
@onagao
Mind-boggling for me too, how does a person not notice that about themselves.
@colonel
Like showan said, don't think of it as JUST to watch tv. It's an integration of tv, to go along with everything else.
I may not ever have to use a remote again, I could seamlessly go from playing COD or Battlefield to watching tv while waiting for the match to start. Then while watching tv, the xbox will tell me that my match is about to start, then I can instantly switch back to the game.
No one is buying the system so that they can ...
I just left the event and it is not that bad geez...lol
I am not fond of the controller because it is too small. The thumbsticks, and the rumble in the controllers are nice though, just wish the kept the original size.
Had the most fun playing Killer Instinct, once I figured out a few moves/combos....I was in love. Ryse was cool and looked amazing, I felt like I was in a scene from Gladiator. Dead Rising was "meh" to me, but I can see someone ha...
I think this whole 1080p 720p stuff is a timing issue. Developers may just need more time with the xb1 to get 1080p. Forza has had the longest time to work on their game on the xb1 which is probably why they were able to do it.
Coming from a person who is getting both systems, I like it. I would rather not have two redundant systems in my living room. MS has a certain way that they want you to experience their gaming system and I welcome it like I do with all of my gaming devices. If i like the experience I will keep it, if not I will sell it....here's looking at u Nintendo. ;-)
Incoming in a few weeks?? Damn....so is the xb1. I wanna see something now...lol
Thanks, I am gonna try to go!
What time tomorrow? Do you have to register?
NO! However it might be fun to play with your kids or drunk friends.
@campy
When I said the ps4 only has one true next gen game, I was reffering to killzone....That is the game that I really really want to play.
Man people are really using that flamethrower....lol
Seriously...who is paying to use apps on a console? The reason that I and anyone I know has xbl, is to play games online. I don't know of anyone who says ummm netflix, xbox shut up and take my money.
Edit: @holyduck.....EXACTLY!
@malokevi
Yeah man its a little strange, and sad. It's like people treat Sony and MS like a conflicting religion.
We are talking new next gen games here, are you really buying a next gen console for its indie games.
From what I have played this game is amazing....Its funny how people who have actually played the game, love it, and how it plays, then you get articles like this. Seems like someone is on the "hate everything xbox train".
