lol...you cannot compare KI to Injustice, it is a full blown game that went through full development, at a cost of $60 with no free option or choice of purchasing it at a lower suggested retail price or seperate characters. Also it is just not Killer Instinct, its a superhero fighting game...come on man. Side note: I am not a fan of IGAU's fighting mechanics.

Agreed, I played the demo as well and from what I played, it seemed boring and the controls are really weird.

Yes, I drive to work every day. However WHEN PLAYING VIDEOGAMES, I am not looking for branches and trees to be in my rearview mirror, I am looking for cars trying to take my position.
My point is that "gamers" have become whiners, we should enjoy the games as they are instead to crying about bushes in the background. Trees have nothing to do with gameplay or physics of said game. Kind of like crying about there being more bushes in a 360 version ...

Not all games sell as well as COD, most arent even close.
Development teams, time, and cost have more than doubled, a lot of cases tripled since those days.
Don't get me wrong, I am not saying that they are struggling but wouldn't you want more $ if you put more time and effort into your work? If your job says that you can only make 30k a year for what you do, would you not want the oportunity to make extra money elsewher...

We are talking two completely different industries here, also in terms of entertainment value, video games are worth more.
I could understand your point if (like a movie) we only got 1 1/2 hours worth of entertainment out of a "blockbuster game", but no, we are getting anywhere from 5 hours to a year and or years worth of entertainment out of ONE game.

This is what I don't understand....we as gamers have put an unspoken cap on how much they can charge us for games at $60. Games have cost this much or more since the 90. The difference is that games cost millions to make these days, this isn't the 90's or early 2000's. I think that they should make an entirely new game after season 2, with better graphics a few additional characters, stage fatalities, and finishers.

Exactly what I was thinking, ONE more game is not that big of a difference, especially for the console that is "focused soley on games".
This whole "for the gamer" thing is simply a marketing term/tool that these fanboys and journalist are eating up. A console that is supposedly "not focused on games" should not have more next gen titles than the company that is (Sony), even if they are just launch titles. Next year there will ...
I have to disagree with them "not being focused on games". I am enjoying my gaming experience on the xb1 more than I did with the ps4, and that is due to the variety of next gen games available for it. I am simply having more fun on the xb1 with its exclusive games.

Anything can be silly and or stupid if you convince yourself that it is, with that said, I am not gonna try to convince you otherwise, enjoy Destiny when it comes out. I am just trying to help you understand/answer your question.
Well buy it second hand, but don't cheat yourself out a good experience, gamers should enjoy games and separate themselves from these emotional/personal feelings.
Out of curiosity, what exactly do you think MS did to games?
These companies want our money and we want their games, both Sony and MS took a gamble on what they thought we wanted as consumers, MS took the wrong gamble in drm so they changed it because gamers arent ready for it.

First off, I will say that the graphics look like they could have been done on the ps3, it is also just looks like another shooter, not saying that the game will be bad, because obviously non of us have played it, but IMO it looks like an online only spin-off of Halo.
Quantum break seems to be offering a new experience with it's game/movie tie in, and it actually looks next gen, and seems to have an interesting story.

It just looks ok IMO, nothing amazing, it kind of looks generic. Can someone explain what about this game is so visually appealing, or are we just excited for a new IP?
