believe it or not, i'm not buying GOW3. i absolutely love the GOW series, but for me the replayability goes down after a few playthroughs. the game is meant for a single player extravaganza so i'm just going to rent it. i would rather buy games that i know i will be playing non stop rather than a game i will play for a good short while and then it collects dust. MGS4 is one of very few games where i can play the single player a lot but even then i crave for online gameplay and i don't kno...
completely agree with you. this is like castlevania/metroid but in 3D. effing sweet! i just hope the d-pad isn't hard to use.
do you believe in natural selection?
if any of you do, and i might be taking this out of context or whatever, but if natural selection is true, shouldn't the process eventually wipe out the "gay gene"? the whole point of natural selection is that genes are striving to survive and reproduce and they eliminate anything that holds them back from reproduction and the "gay gene" would be the BIGGEST thing to hold back population growth for a persons' genes.
that's the gayest sh!t i've ever seen. is that a pedophile trying to attract kids or something?
mass effect would be pretty sweet.
L4D2 might end up being a completely different game once you play it, but this t-chart makes it sound like only new maps, skins, enemies, weapons, and modes and that's about it. as for the AI, i guess that would require alterations to a game engine but i don't see this sequel being too much different from the first.
and before people start saying that i'm butthurt because it's not coming to the ps3 (which couldn't be further from the truth cuz i could easily run L4D on my pc), t...
i'm probably talking out of my ass, but could it be that free roaming would be too much for the 360 to handle? i mean from what i saw during tech demos on the PC, i couldn't possibly see the 360 or even the ps3 pulling it off. not taking potshots at anyone, just wondering if there was actually technical limitations with the console version which forced them to pull back some features and gameplay elements.
i could all be wrong and just speculating, but i know there has been a l...
full customization is pretty nice, i like it alot, but GT5 is having like twice as many cars and models. not saying full customization is useless, but all those different car models makes a big deal for a lot of racing fanatics. i like the GT series but i'm not obsessed with it since i'm not into racing to begin with. my cousin, however, who works in LA with a custom car magazine company (forget it's name) is insanely addicted to the GT series.
i remember asking him one time...
now that you mentioned it being downloaded, it could've been compressed which might've been the reason why IGN only gave it an 8. that's too bad as uncompressed sound always sounds better. i guess only sound aficionados would appreciate this, but i feel for you paying 1200 bucks to not be able to hear this game sound as good as bad company. still a lot of other games out there with uncompressed sound though.
of downloading and streaming is a bit skewed. ultimately, when you're streaming something, you're still downloading something. go to youtube and let a whole video that your streaming buffer completely and then go to your system's cache and you will see that you have a whole video file (in FLV format since it's a flash file) stored on your computer. you just practically downloaded a video on youtube despite it being streamed.
as a matter of fact, i've taken like 20 videos off y...
i know it may seem odd, but besides the cross game chat, invites, and in game music (not a big deal at all for me to begin with anyways), i really like the visual aesthetic to XBL. it seems very descriptive of everyone's actions and more streamlined into the operating system compared to pSN. i still like PSN more, but i just love the way XBL looks and that small detail in my opinion, just makes XBL look more appealing.
however, sony can always change their layout if they wanted...
i agree, you will almost always hate a game if you have a hard time playing it. something tells me everyone plays full 32 player matches when playing killzone 2 which is a big no-no and if you add in how difficult the game can be for the controls, well then of course a lot of people would be disappointed with it. i love the controls and the way the feel too, i just played cod a few days ago and i couldn't stand how weak everything felt.
i felt like i was shooting paper or som...
that they only gave the sound an 8.0 because bad company had near flawless sound when it's in surround sound. i couldn't believe how well and accurate the guns actually sounded. everything was perfect, and your ears would deafen if you were near a loud explosion, the guns popped loud just like it was so suppose to; probably the best sound in a game in my opinion.
i hope the sound is just as good in this because that's one of my biggest issues now.
i paid full price for MGS4 just to have a superior version come down the road with a 50 dollar deduction price. i always get shafted for prices, i guess that's just life for ya.
thank you, i knew others acknowledged that FFXII versus is still exclusive and it would still all be on one disc with the FXIII game. everyone is always talking about disc swapping being the main issue with the 360's version, but its actually the whole other game that only ps3 owners will get.
love the m4ebr!
do you have a clue what gun stoppage is? you never want that in a gun, thats when your gun becomes faulty and cant shoot. i've seen that chart you posted a long time ago and its actually confirming how often the M4 would malfunction after 60,000 rounds and it shows it doing the most. i agree with the xm8 having the least stoppages as it is a better built gun that almost became standardized in the US military if it wasnt for the gun's overheating and melting issue (which couldve been solved...
i didnt know one person owned 20 million ps3's
a little video of myself would prove im a guitarist no problem. gotta guitar with bad intonation, cheap and broken zoom 606 pedal, horrible audio pickup quality from a camera, and a nice peavey amp. only question is if i can transfer files through my ps3.
EDIT honesty not trying to be arrogant or act like we are the best. just giving our assessment on what a lot of gh addicts act like.
peanut butter and jelly? nachos!? what the hell?! the last thing i want is a fastfood-fat-phuck-eating fa_ggot eating that sh!t and touching my controllers! i hate it when my controllers get sticky, my brother has lotion encrusted all over his PSP and i wonder why (ie: the psp has a web browser, you do the math.)
and this is a load of bullsh!t. not everyone indulges themselves in junk food like this article implies. very stereotypical and offensive in my opinion. hey, while...
