very off topic, but i bought bad company 2 a couple of days ago and it was working just fine but today it goes to a black screen and freezes everytime it loads.
i tried other games (they all worked), i resetted and unplugged the ps3, cleaned the disc, but BC2 still won't work. i was wondering if anyone else had this problem and if so could please help.

i wouldn't say it's socom 4 since confrontation was the first socom game to be on the ps3 which would make the "triumphant return" statement negated; timesplitters isn't squad based; and syphon filter was more stealthy like splinter cell and actually more revered on the ps1 and psp.

what i really want is a badass killzone 2 dynamic theme with the helghast scout flickering in the background with his invisibility cloak or see some sentry bots flying with lightning striking in the dark mist.
like every one else is saying; if you rush around people from behind tactically, they'll never see it coming and the reward will be a lot more satisfying than camping.

it's not too bad. it's revealing about as much as we've already seen from other gameplay demos and interviews. i still wouldn't watch it though; ruins in the experience.
there better not be. there's really no reason to lose a whole entire season. that's just terrible on the athletic, coaching, and team management's part.
something i've learned a long time ago is that you can't just play a few hours of gameplay to get the full picture of a game. metal gear solid, final fantasy, fallout, RTS games, RPG games, gran turismo, battlefield, and a bunch of other games took me a while before i started liking them, but now i love them.
play the whole game, try out all of it's features, then judge it scrupulously.

i was thinking about bioshock 2's multiplayer add-on myself when posting the comment, but i think i'll reserve judgement and see what happens with the game. i'm honestly not too hyped for the game, but UC2's multiplayer surprised me and it was actually good so maybe it will be the same case for bioshock 2. guess we gotta wait and see.
the animations don't look too bad, but everything else doesn't look good at all. the gun sounds, the guns themselves, the environments, the character models, and i don't care about the main guy you play as. maybe the game will be decent, but it doesn't look great at all.
saying forza has set the standard for racing sims is pretty arrogant. there's no denying that Turn 10 made a good racer out of forza 3, but it will never live to the legacy set up by PD and the GT series. i can bet you money that forza and project gotham racing were only made because microsoft wanted a counter measure against GT and tried to have the same success as it.

remember, this guy didn't actually play video games to employ his weight loss, he used concepts from video games and applied it to his everyday lifestyle. i still agree with obama's assertion to not be obsessed with video games and actually do something more constructive, but this was a good idea on the man's part to use video games to his advantage.
