yeah, i was hoping for MOH to have been a AAA game too but it isn't. it doesn't surprise me too much anyways. the last MOH wasn't fascinating either and EA was dumb to think they can rekindle the modern war theme when its over-used in FPSs these days.
and i have to say EA is doing a good job on the advertising department. despite how bad the game actually is, they sell it well on tv. anybody who isn't in the loop would think its the next big multiplayer extravaganza...that is until they buy it and play and realize they've been scammed.
the game really doesn't evolve a whole lot, but its improving on every aspect that made MW2 a failure (the game is a failure in my opinion) while still offering some new features. i think blackops will be a lot more enjoyable and probably be as good as MW1 when it came out.
sometimes its the small things that count you know?
"I'm not gay so I can't."
ever heard of the word "experimentation"? supposedly a lot of people do it for their first time in college.
"•Killstreak Kills - Kills from Killstreak Rewards no longer count towards your next-higher killstreak reward. This is definitely raising the bar over previous Call of Duty titles where users often had only to reach a lower killstreak and hide somewhere while that Killstreak Reward earned them their next-higher one. This will encourage some more interactivity and promote aggressive players."
excellent improvement.
couldn't stand the fuckers ...
the main thing that i like treyarch is doing with black ops is that they are making everything balanced and getting rid of a lot of overpowered perks/weapons/killstreaks/aspe cts that hindered the MW2 experience.
IW thought that just by adding a bunch of new perks and killstreaks would make MW2 as a big of a hit as MW, but it proved worse and more a cluster fuck multiplayer game than anything else. the campaign doesn't even have a consistent premise and goes from one (...
it may seem like a simple electrical toy car, but the military possess technology similar to it and are highly explosive and deadly.
they are anything but "retarded."
i honestly want more strong neon-lit colors like the ones in ME2. KZ3 can still retain the realistic gritty sci-fi theme they're going for, but i think brightly lit colors would offer an awesome contrast. i still love the blue that emits from the ISA's backs, the purple sparks from the repair tool, and the red and green smoke from the insertion points.
color will not hurt this game!
"Forget about what you hear from KZ2 graybeards they're stuck in their ways and their minds can't be change so fuck'em."
lol i love that attitude. i loved KZ2 to death but i don't mind the changes that GG have to the control scheme. hell, it improves the gameplay insurmountably. i don't see how people can stay loyal to KZ2's controls. they certainly were functional, but they definitely needed improvement. KZ3 has addressed that issue. ...
he also thought being able to change the placement of the turret was a new feature. i think you could do it in MW2 if i remember correctly.
no, the game wasn't broken on the PS3 at all. it just got boring after a while. it did for me at least, not sure about you. borderlands 2 at least has a strong foundation to build upon.
the foundation of MW2 just sets up for a community hackers, noobs, and campers. the game focused way too much on killstreaks and about half way through a match a majority of all the kills are contributed from them. i've seen guys finish 60 and 5 and its not because they shot the opponents themselves, they just camped somewhere on the map and got an 7-11-etc killstreak and call in choppers, air strikes, bombers, etc. hell, the care packages were an easy way to get high killstreaks witho...
yeah, its suprising how so many people are literally addicted to quickscoping. met so many players online where all they do is have private matches for quickscoping. i think thats the fucking lamest thing on the planet to do in a FPS. how is that even fun when you're really not earning your kills?
and now with a collective gamer...AMEN!
its hard to balance a COD game. i mean the snipers and shotguns are essentially useless because the assault rifles, even SMGs and LMGS, can drop anyone within a few hits and offer far range.
i felt bad for all the snipers in MW2 (to some degree) because the maps were so small and the assault rifles covered just about any range on the map. and then the shotguns are useless because no matter how small the maps are, people with the assault rifle have an immediate advantage o...
dumbest article headline i've read in a long time. seriously, is the kid 8?
no surround sound? thats an immediately red flag in my book. thats easily my favorite feature about the ps3 over my 360. shit, i sometimes i use my ps3 just for music because the quality is so good instead of the 360's in-game music.
and thats another thing. i bought my new 360 slim about a month ago and theres a few things that i'm dissapointed with. for one, why can't i split the composite cable lines? is microsoft trying to force me to buy an optical ...
hmmm, i see. i stand corrected.
definitely. heavenly sword 2 would've garnered more attention just because of its successor. kind of like the unchared series.
yeah i know what you mean. demonic and other religious occultic themes are the only things that scare me.
