No. One of the reasons I like consoles over PC is that the hardware is standard and doesn't change. You buy it once and then you get to play every game that comes out on that system without worrying about whether or not it'll run. The new 3DS is bad enough, we don't need any more consoles releasing "updated" versions that make you buy them all over again.

Good. Narrative based games need some kind of structure. Story always suffers from a true open world unless it's a GTA style game.

Yeah it was, but Uncharted was a new IP. Naughty Dog didn't watch Raiders of the Lost Ark and go "Man, you know what would be great? If Jak fought Nazi's and went after supernatural tresure."

I swear to god so many developers play a game or see a trailer or watch a movie and then decide that some already established series or character needs to be exactly like that. And they don't. They originally said the full game would be out by April last year. Just because they *say* something, doesn't mean it's going to happen that way. And people keep giving them money for some reason, so either they're going to keep adding "cool" things because they can, or they're going to have no motivation to deliver a finished product because they've already made their money. I'll believe it when I see a full release, not a second before.
And we haven't even really heard anything about the usual fall/winter AAA releases yet.

If I had to guess I'd say we get a release date announcement at E3 and the game will be out in October at the earliest. I can't imagine a game this big will have a short debugging time, and I'm pretty much resigned to every summer being a barren wasteland for anticipated game releases.
Fair. Ever since I figured my sexuality out I've noticed that my K/D ratio has gotten better across the board in almost every MP game I play. Gays are obviously genetically predisposed to be better at games.
